Hey, Cory the only reason i went with a Trooper because to me it was about the closet thing i could get to a Panda, Flat window, small dash,Big square box to work with. [Wink] I also was looking for a 80's 4dr Montero but they where more expensive [Frown] so i never got to look inside one but if it has the same features of a Trooper than go for it. Oh yeah the other reason i discovered was, putting in 4x4 makes it sooooo much easier to put on the trailer when your fully loaded, I've seen so many vans that look like they are scrapping or bottoming out, but i could be wrong on this one, because i see so many vans out there. Let them tell you on that. [Confused] I hope this helps, and not makes it easier, but it wont just more info to compute [Big Grin] See ya

anyone ever tried a late 80's VX fox wagon, GL i think? looks like it might do pretty decent in 1-2NW? except the big back windows. maybe it'd be better for SM1-2. 15"s would probably be the way to go

I bet a dodge raider would work for sm 1-2, also an older style land rover. Altho an astro might be better because you have the width.
Troopers are good because you can convert them into a front wheel drive very easy [Wink] if you have to cut. [Smile]

Oh Yeah, i forgot about the Raider, it's the same thing as a Trooper, just don't get the sport because it's way too small not enough room for the box and amps.

Well it was a pretty good weekend for me I bought a new pistol for a good price oh yeah and I got a new spl vehicle for a really good price. I have a 4 day weekend coming up but I don't know if I should go shoot my new gun or if I should get started building my first box in my new spl ride. Decisions decisions. [Wink] [Big Grin]

It will be a couple of days but I will get some up. I got so involved in building the box before I knew it I had it 3/4 of the way [Big Grin] done and didn't get any pics. but I will start taking some from this point on. [Wink] I am using birch this time and it seems to be a little more forgiving than mdf. I think I spent quite a bit more though on wood. And for the record I think roto-zips suck!!! [Wink]
