Funny how I saw this get bumped. I just purchased a 96 caravan le model.
My plans are to have everything behind the rear most seats and not above the window line. Have to be able to use the 3rd seat for little ones.
The rear ac will be used as well, so the box won't be able to go all the way to the passengers side in that area. Will cover the vents if this is done. And yes I have to have the rear ac for the little ones as well.
So far with a single 10. It doesn't sound to bad. I have the sub faceing the passengers side and ports drivers at the moment. This 10 is also ran off a little 220 watt amp.
I know this will get flamed once written, but useing a rad shack meter on the dash sealed. I peg it at 35hz with this setup. I know they aren't accurate and all, but all I have still for now. I will be soon playing around with placement to see which is better.

My wife had 2 x 15"s in the back of her grand voyager with all seats in place (we have five kids ya know) and she was able to achieve 157 db with it on the dash! It was so loud for what it was that we used to be forced to pull the subs out at every show to prove we weren't "hiding" equipment and yes, it was built for daily driving not pure spl!

How much power were you running ? I was thinking 4k to 8k, depending on which way I go and what subs I use.
Also. Got any pics ?
pics, sorry no...but I could give you dimensions also, 4 x 12"s will work back there too! I helped Ben Fisher with a box to go all the way in the back of his astrovan for 4x12"s that broke the street 3-4 record in db drag a few years back...and it sounded ok too! Tell me which way you want to go and I can tell you what to build

If its the same design Mike sent me as well its for (2) 12" subs. Should work out great in that style of van. Since our van got smashed up I'm trying to find a replacement to try it out.

It's for 2-15's. Waiting for one for 4-12's, but from what I have tried to figure out. There isn't enough room for what I want to do without possibley losing spl as opposed to the 2-15's.

Yeah its gonna just fit I'll just mount the amp under the 3rd seat-that way I can easily remove it after shows.
Should do great on music as well. I see a surge in "mom's taxis" invading the lanes pretty soon.
