REX I worked on both, I have an Accent and my teammate has a REX They don't like the same subs or box type so keep that in mind. The Accent can get loud but I could not get mine loud this year because I didn't have have a mic and I used 10's this year and last year I used 1-12"ers and I went with a sub that was 3+ DB down from the first sub I had very stupid mistake.

ok I tested the car and it did a 149.0 dbs. voltage drop was up to 12.1v so i need some good alt to compensate. What do you guys think? good or bad number, and also what should I do to raise the number a bit more for at least 151?

Ok I tested again and did a 150.9dbs, then i mooved the box about 2 inches forward and lost .2dbs, so ill put it back and put some resin in the box to smooth it out a bit and then ill test again.

In my Hyundai Accent I made a score of 147.7 dbs but it was a 30 sec dead match. I played a killer track called welcome stranger. The setup was a DD9915 powered by a USAmps DE-3000 @ 0.5ohms with 2 x Optima Yellow Top batts. H/U Alpine CDA-9835 and the car was with the engine off. Can someone give me a hint for a louder box? plese P/M me.
Thanks.

I dont know if that question was ment for me!? Anyways, we are still in the trial and error phase, theres a long way to go, especialy with scores like you guys obtain. We have 4-5 different designs ready for testing. But nothing like your box..... thath is huge!??
The question was for everyone who can help me for a box design and measurments cause Accents are very difficult to work with.

How many subs? 1 or 2? As I see they are facing upwards, and the seats, one is folded to the dash (Passenger side) and the driver side is still in position. Am I right? How big is the port? Is it facing upwards also? Areo port 6"
Thanks
