[Confused] Find your note, and burp at that frequency. Don't play any song. If you can't find your note, do a sweep.

Well, since i was doing ~144 w/ 1 sx15 in a 98 ext cab chevy...you should be able to do ~143 [Smile]

But really man, your tuned low (right?)...so you'll prolly be in the 147-148 range.

Oh...and dont you have an ext cab chevy kinda like mine? if you do, try 50-51hz. that is were my 98 chevy silverado peaks. (3.5 cu ft, tuned 44hz, bp1200.1, no sound deadening, 4ga, stock batt [Smile] )

they will have a db reading for every frequency you play. so you know whats the loudest frequency in your truck if you play a sweap that goes threw every possible loud frequency

id burp at 48-52

if u cant burp cause of voltage problems. run the song
"Go To Sleep" by Eminem, DMX, Obie Trice
with that song i only see at most a db drop.

a sweep would be nice, but by the time u get to the spot ur cars electrical system wont be up to par with what it was.

go download NCH tone generator, google it, its a free program to make wave or tone files of anything you want pick your frequency, pick how long you want it. you can do sweaps too, you could do a quick sweap that only goes threw about a 6 hz frequency range. lets say 47-53 or something and you can pick how fast you want it to play for lets say 3 seconds so hopefully you wont get too much voltage drop. just make sure you have a good amount of overhead for this program. or open the wave file in an audio editor and jack the gains up to -1 db. i think this program saves the waves at around -5 or -6 db

WELL ONLY 140DB BUT problem was i wasnt allowed to run my motor [Frown]
think he said street C i think... not sur etho....
i stayed for a few hours and then said F- IT was taking way to long!!!!!
so i just stayed for qualifing......
last second i switched it to 50hz and gained like 2db from the 48hz tone.
i shoulda switched it up higher but i kinda forgot to change the tone unfortunatly [Frown]
since i couldnt run my motor i was REALY worried about blowing my amp again! diped to like 9volts on my meter so i just kinda turned it down and cranked it up every few seconds....

i realy need to know what i gotta add to make my system able to bump with the motor runnen?

im sure i coulda got higher if i was able to run the motor! then i wouldnt be so worried about my amp frying and BUMP THAT SH** [Wink]

but over all im happy with that score. i said i hope i at least get 140 and thats what i got. close enough to me. [Wink]

also my port has been vibrating to bad it finaly musta broke loose in the ends [Frown] its realy horible vibration sound [Frown] that might have effected my score i think....

thats an ok score...but i figured you would be at ~145 at least. Your tuned to like 34hz, right? I bet it is great for daily. My SX15 is in about 4.5 cu ft net tune to like 32hz, its great daily....your's is prolly insane. (i wont dis you for your Mike Jones video, his stuff slams on my SX too [Smile] )

How is your box set up? (port direction, port area, net cu ft?)

Hit me on AIM some time...southern1inla86

i think its the amp, hahaha
had a Orion 2500 D running at 2ohms on (2) 12" SX's in my blaze
no interior so i lost about 1-2db's
but i couldnt get them over 143. i even made 3 boxes for em, lol.
so technically id be aroun 144/145 with em
but that wasnt good enuff for me, so i sold em [Frown]

You'll be louder with a test tone versus music... I'd go with 50+ hz.. and you should be over 145db... 2 15's on 2500 watts???

Yea over 145 let us know what you do [Smile]

some people dont read the whole topic and decide to post com'on man he said he gained 2 dbs from going from 48 hz to 50 hz so obviously he tried notes. but i doubt a 145 maybe a 143 maybe 140 will be his best but im sure he can careless its a daily setup.

amp runs fine at 2 ohm.... the score is all up to you and your box design.

it does much more power wired down farther though [Wink]
