Is it true that is 300 dollars to recone a 9917 or 9915? How much to recone a 9515? Man, that may just change my mind on some woofer choices....

DD9512 recone is 120. Dunno about the 15 though...

$180 per 9917 recoil. shipping was $120 round trip per sub. 2 9917 reconed = $600 real dollars. [Eek!]

After they stop laughing, they'll tell you that you can't recone it because its too hard, then the bill for you to send it in. I made it clear I could recone a Stroker and it couldn't be worse than that, still wouldn't do it. $250 later, I had a working woofer again.
