Okay, been thinking of this for a while:
1982-7 Civic flatback or Wagon, either with 16 15s or 48 10s. They'll fit, and either would be just stupid to look at, but I'm wondering on which would perform better, given that 3 10s generally need the same amound of air and have the same cone as a 15. Theoretical power would start out in the 5-6000 watt range.

Not looking for hard #s or anything, but more of a conceptualization.

Which seems more mental, 16 15s or 48 10s??

My other recent thoughts, have been an older Boogie van all pimped out with crushed velvet and a wall sporting 32 15s. That would draw a few looks Me and TMan could hook up with our hoopties at a show!!

I think that the 48 10's would bring more looks than the 15's. I know that 16 15's in most of the shows that I go to would not brng to much attention. But then again most of the show that you will be at Mega won't be there with his 24 15's now that bring in the looks.

Do 48 10"s. That would give you the holy sh*t factor when you look in the back of that old school Civic. Depending on the woofers you could apply more power to 48 woofs.

The 10s would probably be more accurate as well. But who the hell cares about that when there's 48 of them!

48 10's.
More power too.
And have a Russian sub manufacturer rebuild
the Honda out of titanium, or better yet
unobtanium.

I agree on the 48 10's having the upper hand in the "Holy Sh*t!" factor.. 16 15's would have a WOW factor but all those 10's would definately top that!

I had to disagree with everyone else, but I feel that even though the 48 10's would bring more looks, I think you'll have less service issues with the 16 15's. You should know how important serviceability is, especially in an spl monster like your talking. Up the wattage also so they'll all do their part. IMO!!

imo you'll get the wow factor anyways! I don't know how you'll fit either one of those formats in a civic! however, I would love to see 48 subs in that little car!

Nah, leave the Civic down at the used car lot. Go for the Hoop. I have been eyeing a psychadelic 70's Chevy van in my town. It's got a striped paint job with about 10 different colors and one of those funky round bubble windows on each side. Some cushy red velvet interior and a bumping system would just about fit the bill. And don't leave out the disco ball!!

It's got Mack written all over it.

The Mack's got the idea!!!

I'm just thinking of the pure stupidity of a Civic with 4 dozen 10s.
Licence plate: CPL 10S.
