Hey all ive been doing some experimenting and i foundout that when i put to 4 X 6" Ports on my back dash with out speakers it makes my originally ported enclosure SPL even louder the enclosure is ported to 37Hz
could someone please tell me how this works??

are the port going into the box or just into the trunk.
If into box just added more port area to the box which means better spl
If you ported the trunk the spl can get out better also the ports will make the trunk act is a second enclosure is give you a sixth order band pass sort of.
