Hello I just want to know if anyone knows if there is a spl lightning comp truck??? I'm working on mine and running around 5000 watts....I just want to know if there is anyone there who knows a lightning that hits hard??? Thanx peace out

i do rem seeing in a mag 2 18" lighting audio subs doing 171+ in a truck with a cap...SPLaudio

Hey pimp I think he's talking about an audio setup in a Ford Lightning. I don't know of any around here where I live, and don't think too many competitors would choose a Lightning for an SPL truck, but you may want to check out some car audio magazine websites, they may have something that would help you. Try car audio and electronics magazine or Auto sound and security, sorry, don't know the websites right off hand, they should help you out a little. later.

2 12' Eclipse Ti powered by mtx8100d amp to each sub....

Image Dynamics 6.5 components (kick panels)
Image Dynamics 6.5 Coaxils

Image dynamics 8' (for the front doors)

An Audio Control Matrix Line driver

2 mtx amps for my highs

A eclipse 21010 Eq

2 400 Batcaps

35 farad cap

SO......what you guys think of this system in that truck I bought all those soo far...Thanx for the reply guys....Lata

there was a guy in fernadina beach that had a Lightning with 2 DD 9515's and autotek 1500.1's last year.

where do you plan on putting the eclipse ti 12"s at? to get major output from them ,for comps your are going to need a decent size ported box.

I'm doing acut thru install its bad ass looking so far I got the box built and the speakers are in...now I just need to build an amp rack and do some design and put some neon and stuff

what year lightning do you have? i just purchased an 02 f-150 an after the cut thru on my nissan, i would whip my own a$$ if i cut the ford. but i really hate that factory sys.
