right now I have four dvc Audiobahn 1000Q's and a single d2. In a single cab Datsun truck with a cutthrouh. I am redoing the box ported should I stay with the four 10's or should I go with two 15's(xxx, strokers, shockers, hc's, maybe inhumans). Guy at that is building my box said that the four 10's would be louder than the 15's.

Well 2 15's have more cone area than 4 10's, and I would prefer 2 15's over 4 10's myself. I love my 2 15's. 2 15's would be louder, especially since they would be easier to install too. A pair of 10's has 171in2 of cone area, and a 15 has 176in2. I think that 2 15's would love a D2. I think that the box builder is feeding you some BS. 2 15's and a nice port can rock 4 10's and would sound much deeper too, IMO.

decided to go with the two 15's ported but which:
(2)Shocker III
(1)Shocker Extreme II
(1)Inhuman
(1)Stroker
(2)3515
(1)9515
(1)XXX
(2)HC
and any others left out. All of the one subwoofers I listed will eventually have a twin sister, but till then, also will be getting another d2...Which to choose?
