help me please
i have 4 infinity perfects and 2 jbl 1200.1's
anyone have an idea what size and how big of ports to make. also i know hardly anything about box tunning. also they are in a firebird so anyone have any idea where i should tune the box for maximum spl in an 85 firebird

Go with a 4 cubic foot box per pair before displacments and use two 4" ports(or 26 sq inches) that are 13" long each for each enclosure.

the box i have now is a single chamber box aprox 7 cubes b4 displacement and has 4 ports that are
3*12.5 and are 12.5" long

im almost positive that is the port sizes.

thanks db don.
also about where would that box be as far as tunning freq?
where is mine?

well, im sure your info is wrong, unless its a spl box.

i NEVER understand what people are talkin about with "before displacement" or "after displacement." using gross or net volume is easier to understand. im gonna assume you are saying gross volume, but i'll just use net volume.

vb: 7 cubes
fb: @ 50hz
# of ports: 3
port area: 3x12" each (112.5" total)
port legnth: @ 12.2"

i cant suggest a box size til i know how much area u got to give up. measurements?

its 4 ports and it is 7 cubes b4 i put the subs and the ports in.

also i should be able to get about 8 maybe 9 cubes in my car

i am peaking out at 41hertz
