odd...i had the 3515a series, two 15's and an a7hc...tuned to 45Hz i'd run em full power at 20Hz with no problems.
sounds like a fluke...what kind of setup did you have em in? and what were you playing?

Very strange, I have a DVC 4ohm 3512a and was running my JBL to it no problems. WIth VERY heavy bass. Mind you, the dustcap was pretty hot, but the sub just keeps going

when u say u blew u em u mean u burnt the coil?? The DD sub can take quite a beating. I have neva seen the mechanical side go wrong. The only thing u can do is burn the coil. But again this will mostlikely be the users fault. If u are heavily clipping or distorting the output signal from the amplifier then yeah, u could easily burn the coils within a matter of a few minutes. Any woofer with a heavily clipped signal will do this.

That is odd, I know my team mate ran 1 a7 for each 3515 but then switched to 2 cadence z9000s, thats over 900 a sub and they handled that daily and he never let up on these subs, he gave them hell. lol heck i got 2800 on each of my 9015ds for daily driving and competition. lol

Yeah that's strange man... I've pluged my 3500series into the wall outlet a few times now... (Almost 2,000Watts each) And they take that with ease. I second the suggestion that you might be sending them a clipped signal somehow.

how do i stop clipping? box for a single 10 and give that bit** 1200 watts and see what she sounds like. But no the coils dont seem to be burnt...thats the weird thing. It just doesn't take any power, the magnet doesn't even get hot. thats why i was thinkin there is a wire or something not connected anymore inside the sub. that has happend before with an xtant i had.
