Show I was at we did a 157 outlaw and a 166 port wars..lol I know I know..its easy to do port wars for sure..But still a single 12 doing 157 outlaw is not BAD..also so far best on the dash is 143..Still need to redo box and tune it more but not bad..

I take it that you are very impressed with there new subs. Im getting ready to install to 15" HCCAs into my friends car. Each being powered by its own HCCA 275. He will be competeing mostly in NSPL. I heard from an orion rep that he knows a guy pullind 145 out of one 12. Good luck at the shows.

Update....this guy has done a 145+ at the dash. He is looking to redo the box and try out a 275HCCA.

And yes I am impressed. But the thing is if they dont get a GOOD GOOD box forget it. You will damage the box and sub. I have seen it 2x. Also one time the guy had 2 of the 15's in a poorly tuned ported box and they sounded VERY VERY bad and didnt hit a 140 I dont think. But that was a bad box and not much power. What kinda box you doing?

Each 15 will be its it own 2.4cft ported enclosure. Using 3/4 inch MDF, also gonna fiberglass the interior of the box. when that was done i was thinking of adding another layer of 3/4 to the outside of the box which will make the boxes 1-1/2 inches thick. i built a box out of 5/8 particle to just test one 15 and i was pulling a 146 on the dash with only 400 watts of power the speaker was hardly moving this was hit on my linearx meter. i think orion has sent me a flyer on your guy with the one 12 and 275 hcca. It said he was hitting a 150.5 on the dash. Is this true? If so orion will take home some records this year. It also said a guy with 4 hcca 15s and 4 hcca 275s hitting a 172. All of this is so hard to believe it probably have to see this to believe it.
