Hi,

Has anybody used or know of the use of min's as spl vehicles.

I currently have one and are planning on doing a daily driver spl install, maybe a wall.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Erkel

Have seen a couple of them here in England. Most have used either a Wall Or SSNW style setup. None have done really well though 7 they are uselesss for a box in the boot Street style as the metal panel behind the seats stops the bass getting into the cabin. [Roll Eyes]

They suffer from the same problem as my van, very weak door tops/window frames.
The windscreen seal is also very weak, and thats without bass!!!!

As for a daily driver/SPL, the engine is going to struggle, and if you uprate the engine, you will get reliability problems. The cabin is quite big, compared to what is left, if you are doing wall, and you have to put ALL your gear back there as well!!!!
The only mini I can remember doing SPL here in the UK, was streched, and had 6 wheels.... plenty of space!!!

There is a guy with a mini and two RFL's. He just hit 170.0 in an Extreme Mini with 4 81000D's. Ill see if I can find his name.

What type of setup has it got in it? I am guessing a wall, any things I should watch out for when doing the install.

Thanks
