The oven we used was made out of whatever we had that wasn't flamable at the time! so cement blocks on the garage floor will be just fine. As for heating it, leave an opening on one side and use a propane turbo heater, it takes alot of heat to bend 1". just be patient it takes time, expect to sit around a few hours waiting for it bend fully.

Josh, how hot did you have to get the plexi before it started bending? Or is it more time than temperature that matters? Oh, also, where did you get your plexiglass from? How much did it cost? Thanks.

I got the plexi from Regal Plastics in TX, It was a 30" x 60" piece If I remeber right it was $280 with shipping to WI. I am really not sure what temperature we had to get it so it would bend. But let me tell you, when it hot enough you will know, you can do some cool **** with it when it is hot enough, you can actually fold it over and then let go, it will go back to it's shape!!! Really neat stuff when it is hot, it acts like rubber.
Oh and for anyone that may have missed this tip, Use the original factory windshield for the mold, place the plexi centered on it, then start heating it and it will conform to the original glass! The hard part is cutting it!!
