Is anyone running Zapco amps or processors and if so what woofers run the best with Zapco amps? I have 4XLC12" svc with a 800a2 driving them I am thinking of putting 2000watts to base so I need woofers that will give me both SQ and SPL. I have a 600a4 running my highs which are the fanatic P 3 pairs

HAVE you considerd the IDQ,S FROM IMAGE DYNAMICS??????? YOU SHOULD THEY HAVE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.... I use them in both perspectives, DB DRAG AND S.Q. THEY ARE THE BEST ALL AROUND WOOFER TO DATE....

Hey damit do you ever have anything good to say!! I strongly agree with Danny on his choice of Image Dynamics once you use them you dont go back. I promise you will love them and the company they love what they do and you can hear it in thier products.

I just reread the entire article from[auto sound & security] AND I DO NOT SEE THAT QUOTE ANYWHERE IN THE MAG, SO MAYBE YOU SHOULD READ IT AGAIN....... AND DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ANYWAY, HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF BEING MISQUOTED??? Maybe he got a better deal on the IDs, maybe he likes them better, maybe the shop he works at couldn't get them at one point, point is there are a lot of maybes here. Maybe he changed his mind when the IDs out performed the Orions. I don't understand the big deal about someone changing their mind. How many ball players say team a is the best, but when they get traded team b is the best thing that has happened to them?

Im not sure how this all got started but I think being human beings with our own independent personalities we are allowed to change our minds how do you think technology continues to advance we all have paradigm shifts that cause us to improve our own perspective on different things I for instance installed 1400 watts of RF two months ago and now I CHANGED MY MIND and am installing 2650 watts of Zapco and different woofers we all change our minds based on the available info we have in an effort to improve something. Thats my opinion

in danny's article the missed qouted him several times in that one magazine and it wasnt evan his fault look at john henry's feature in as&s saying he hit 182.1 everyone knows that score was wrong but they still printed it the the magazine (not trying to dis metro just a example)as far as switching equipment anyone would switch on a moments noitice ifa company made you a nice deal to run thier equipment for well below retail price

how are you going to rip on danny like that cause from the way you talk you have never talked to him the first thing if he makes db drag no fun then why woud he take time at db drag finals to help me out witha problem on my car when he hardly evan knew me and answer my problems and as far as your friend hitting a 176.6 who is he and how come no one has ever heard of him cause a 176 people would be talking since that would be the loudest score ever in either db drag or usac

I don't wanna get in the middle of this... but reading both peoples posts in this forum, from my opinion (read again my opinion) neither of these too guys have really said anything bad about the other.. or anyone, they make one quote of which the other dislikes and it keeps going.. I've talked to benthebass8 a few times and he's a nice guy.. he's very strong minded however which is a good thing... he needs proof to believe something. as for the 176db # that is correct.. but don't forget to include all the context of his message... it was an outlaw score and he specified this. lets keep this forum for sharing ideas and getting help from others, (and do a little bragging when we win) sofar everyone I know off this forum is great, but maybe some time between posts would be a good idea to clear your head. later guys&gals

As to the original post, I think Zapco makes a hella amplifier. Very clean, and they have great headroom. I havn't heard one since before Zeff left, so that may be changing...

Danny is one of the most respected competitors in the circuit today. I would be careful who you cut down because it will probably come back to haunt you at a later time. It doesn't show much character, either. I am given the impression that you are some 17 year old kid who does hack installs in his garage - I doubt that is how you are, but it is how you have presented yourself (Benthebass8). Remember - I'm not saying that is how you ARE, only that is how you are coming off.
