I'm just about hitting 150 in my current setup but I'm about to pull everything apart and start again.
I am going to keep my Soundstream Tarantula but really need advive from you guys on the best SPL subs to use. These are my options so far :
1x18" CV stroker 2x15" Kicker l7s 2x15" Fusion Jona Lomu no.11 2x15" MTX RFLs
I really like the Idea of the 18" Stroker and the single amp, Pure simplicity but will it get me the numbers I want ?
I have also heard the kickers and seen the numbers that they can put out and they are also tempting.
I've never used, heard or even seen the RFLs or the Fusions or I cant even compare them to anything I've heard before.
The same goes for other makes like DD,Treo, groundzero and the other hardcore SPL subs.
I'll also need to use a company (or yourelves) that have experimented with the box designs and can advise me of the best way to obtain the maximum possible SPL.
BTW, I'm not getting rid of the Tarantula

I have posted this before on CAF and SD, I don't know if you read it. I had a single Stroker 18D2 with a measly 300w hit 143.1 using a 12ft^3 enclosure and only 53sq in of port area.

Crossfire XT 15 seems to do ok....hitting 148 in a 7 cubic foot box in the back of a blazer with 1000 watts to it. Wall two of those off and it should pound....and they are cheaper than the RFL's.

Can you give us the vehicle, setup planned and what kind of space you hjave to work with. I am surprized no one thought of INHUMAN's a single 15 with 2000 wrms would do 150, but two would surpass any goal you mentioned. Whatever you choose, shoot me an email and I can help you reach your goals.

shoot don an email you'll be surprise. THIS IS HIS QUAD 10s.
Listen to dB Don, with him your not just buying a sub, it's the advice and free box design that will get you hitting near 160dB. I say go Beyond Audio, I might do the same for the mini, those subs seem to be somthing else.

Id say either get the inhuman or the stroker. I like the idea of one sub and one amp.
