what do you guys think about this amp for spl
how does it compare to other class d amps. What kind of upgrades would I need to make to my charging system. I have a 90 amp alternator and am willing to make mods, but I want to stay totally within next years rules if they have a stock class (hopefully they will) please Wayne. well anyway, thanx for your help

Great amp. Lots of power. Best of all you don't have to change anything on the board like the rest of the class d amps to get the power. I do suggest adding a couple of batteries, it does seem to help. Make sure your power and ground are bulletproof.

Good luck!

I would have to say that adding batteries to this amp showed no immediate gain. Now, yes it would make a considerable difference if you introduced an outside power source that could supply a constant voltage. Adding batteries charged off of a factory charging system did absolutely nothing for us.

This debate can go both ways.....but I believe with a factory charging system, the gains to be had from adding batteries at $100+ a pop will be very small. Your money would be better spent adding an Accuvolt if that was your intention.
