I plan on running two DD 15's next season. I already have 2 1000D's. Would I be better off using the 9000's or th 9500's. I dont plan on buying more amps. It will reside in a 96 Ford Ranger extended cab. I am not doing any cabin mods either. I will only be able to give about 4.5 cubic feet per woofer before displacement.Any info will be appreciated.

If you plan to add more power later then get the 9500, if not do the 9000. They will play loud and last until yu get tired.

I called DD about this exact question a few days ago. Apparently there is almost identacal performance between the two drivers up until about 1400w... At which point the 9000 stops getting louder, and the 9500 continues to belt out more SPL.

Hope that I have been of some help.

If you're into it this far....what's 2 more 1000D's? Just like any of us, you know you'll buy more amps next season. Go ahead and get the 9500's so you don't regret it. You can never go wrong having too much woofer. The subs are pretty equal until the ungodly power is applied where the 95's get a couple sorts of pissed off and display it for the whole world to see. Good results are coming from the 95's and 4 1000d's.
