we are building a 92 geo metro with 6 15" mtx 7000 subwoofers and 3 digital mtx 500dx amps. the windshield and body mods are currently being made and will include a 1/2" lexan windshield, alot of mdf, fiberglass, and concreate (yep). right now, we have a total of 6 batteries and plan on adding a high output altinator. any ideas or comments would be apreciated. we are based out of central minnesota.

Hey, I'm gonna have to check out your
vehicle sometime. I'm in Mankato.
As far as alternators go, I know someone
who can build you one... he's out of Canada
but he built both of mine for me, and they're
great.

MR HERTZ: WHERE ARE YOU????

If you're going to the trouble of building a custom windshield, why not go thicker than 1/2" ? And since you're only running 3 of those class D amps, I doubt you'll need more than 3 batteries.

p.s. Sealed or ported?

we are currently talking with mtx on a box design. the car got sprayed ppg kawasaki green on sunday night (wow that color is alot brighter than you would think!). we would like to go ported if possible. so far we have removed the gas tank and relocated a fuel cell under the hood where the battery used to be. i also removed the fuel pump & relay from the old tank & put it in the new one. we cut the floor out where the gas tank hump used to be so we can fit a larger box. i think 1/2" lexan with a brace down the middle should be enough, shouldn't it? i can get 1/2" for free so i would have to layer it to go thicker.

thor- i talked to you before. i was the dude that wanted to shove 24 10" punch in a metro. well, we talked to the owner at litchfield electronics and he is giving us a real good cost (10% above cost) on anything mtx, hifonics, or pioneer as long as we put his sticker on our car. so if you know anyone who wants 8 10" punch they are for sale. i would like to hear your blazer too. we should meet up some time. gimme some time, though, to work on the metro and get it somewhat done. i 've seen your blazer at st. clouds audio king db drags. i was the dude with the purple z-24 with switches. i only had 4 tens at the time.
