Be careful Jon those Kove subs coils are 2.5ohms a piece thats 1.25 mono so with the matts d300hc running you might get some DC (then things might get a little smokey), as far as box design we have guy at our shop running 2 ARM 15's a punch 800a2 per sub 1.25 ohm mono so ruffly about 1200w 12.5v. per sub. His box is about 4.4 with driver displacement and vent displacement per sub. We have wave brain on the amps and he is hitting anywhere from 151-154 in 93 Civic hatchback firing BACK and no dynamat (yet) so they get loud, it actually gained about 3.7 db by moving them aback and firing them back then the conventional wall did. More to due with transfer function of his car, his note is 51hz. I hoped I helped, you can call Kove direct 1-888-716-5683 toll free and they will give the tech number for the box.
