Well at the one I was at, the mic was in the right corner above the dash. But we were at one a few weeks after that one and this one the mic was set on the floor on a stand and you could place it anywhere as long as you didnt move the mic. But that one I dont believe was a IDBL comp. But it may have been I wasnt competing so I couldnt tell you for sure? And the cd is at the IDBL one was any of your own cd`s that you wanted to use.

well first off your right, idbl does really *****big donkey balls. but if you absolutely have to go, use the renegade bass cd, and they do "suction cup" the mic to the windshield, its retarted, and when you go, tell em to shove there 100 hz filter up there @!$*&
good luck

First of all I don't understand why people say IDBL sucks. I guess the biggest AutoSound Competition organization doesn't know what they are doing huh? Well they do it's just like when DB Drag first come on the scene they had problems just like IDBL. Mike Jaffe has said that there will be changes next season possibly the addition of an extreme class. IDBL lets everyday drivers, and very youg rookies into this sport compete competively. I am not downing DB Drag at all I have competed in both. I am an amateur only by limited funds. DB Drag you have to spend some big bucks to compete at a national level. And the only reason that the audio control mic is used because they are on the board of directors of Iasca. Politics.
