When you had 3 15w6's what did you hit and how was your install??? Or does anyone know what 3 15w6's will hit in a sedan with over 1200 watts going to them in their 1.5 cu enclosures.... Share some storys please...One of my team members just got three and I need to install them and build the boxes. thanks

I never had 3. My friend had 6 in his blazer. Not really much of a SPL sub unless you have a bunch of them. I would expect mid 140's. Good Luck.

I saw a guy do a 144-146 consistently with 3 12w6's and a mmats amp out the trunk and on the dash on a linear x meter. I don't think it will be much of a difference.

Was it the HC Mmats amp (1200 watts) or the 600 watt version? I would expect him to get a little better since he will be using 15w6's which have more cone area. 530.4 Sq. inches for three 15w6's and 339.29 Sq. inches for three 12w6's. Right there that's a somewhat large difference in cone area and my SPL program states with 1200 watts on both setups (and they both sealed), The three tweleves nominal spl was 142.15 and the three 15's were 144.09. Obviously these figures are a little low but this is jsut for referenze and also it will depend on vehicle to vehicle and cabin mods and such. Anyways let me know what you guys think.

This guy had the HC version and it was a sealed box. He was gettin' off pretty good with the JL subs with 400 on each sub. I'm not sure if he had 14.4 volts on the amp but he did have a line driver on it.

No Tiny, the program states that with 1200w on 3 twelves and 1200w watts on 3 15's that the difference between that 144# compared to the 142#. More cone area=more spl... I hope he could hit close to 150db with 1200+ watts on three 15w6's with the back seat down in a dodge stratus. I am building the sealed 1.5cu boxes today. I can't do ported cause of size restrictions in that trunk so sealed it is. It's gonna be hard enough to fit those three in there to begin with.
