Sup all, i was wondering how much db difference will there be if i put one mmats D series per VC rather than per speaker (DD 9515). Its going where the back seat was in a 4 door sedan. I have no cabin mods. Also how much difference will i notice with 1 DD 9515 with 2 mmats on it vs. 2 DD's with 1 mmats on each..

Thanks

Personally, I would use one amp per sub. Correct me if I am wrong, but they have dual 1.9 ohm coils! And if you put both coils in parallel, it reads about 1 ohm. BUT, when you put the woofer in the enclosure, the impedance rises to about double therefore making 2 ohms running both coils. Therefore, you can only optimise 1 class d amp. My bet is that 2 amps per woofer will gain you .2 dB, I say that cause that is what happened when I tried it!!!

I only gain 1 db by putting 2 per driver as opposed to 1 per driver.

Also, with the DD9515, there is not a big impedence rise because of the length and quality of the coil.
