what is the best speaker for the money mojo's treo's sledgehammer DD's or what

The Mojo's (granted they are the old ones), get STUPID loud in small ported enclosures. Unfortunately, they have a tendency to fall off after they get broken in and ran hard. The Treo's have good sound quality, but are not as loud as the Mojo's on the meter. Dont know too much about the Sledgehammers, but if you want absolute reliability, great power handling, and willing to spend the dough, get the DD's. Being louder than the Mojo's on the meter will depend on your application.

re,s are off the chain...but in an extremly small enclosure i my self have seen the "old" mojo ( 15's only) subs kill the dd,s and the re's , now the 12's are a whole new game, mojo 12's need a huge box with huge port to perform, but the 15's "Love" about a 1.5 cube box.... but as t dogg said it really depends on your application... but in a wall....i say re's hands down , but no wall the dd's ruled at db drag finals. but most of it does depend on application and how much work you put in....

and another big factor , unless you are sponsored is "WARRANTY" if u kill the sub , alot of co's wont warranty it. so check out these factors also, unless you got pockets that deep...

i've found that more, and more are going the same way, mainly because they know, beforehand, that spl is the reason for the equipment. you know, i can't blame them.
we're all looking to be the loudest, that means pushing things well past their normal limits, so we shouldn't even expect a warranty
