I didn't ever think that you had hard feelings toward me. I know you and some other people like to give me sh!t when I say something that they don't agree with or if I come across as an ass which I can see sometimes after I've already posted something. I usually don't sugar coat anything though and am the same way in person if confronted. Those occurances are few and far between since most of the time face to face sarcasim is interpreted pretty well.
As far as the Cactus equiptment I'd love to own anything that they make. I know it is top of the line, but being top of the line carries a nice price tag as well. Since it will be a while before Jake gets the next version of the Nightshade out, I would definately consider running a pair of Cactus 12's in my car. I'm actually looking to run 12's for the upcoming season. If you think that you can work out a reasonable price hit me up in a pm and let me know about the mk's. Thanks Ray, no hard feelings

Did you like either of the songs that I put up here? Slightly Stoopid is probably the greatest rock/reggae crossover band imo. They are a Sublime like band that has great bass lines. If you liked them check out the Expendables. They are all from the same area and are really considered surf rock, but they have such a nice reggae feel to them.

It is gaining quite a bit per watt vs. the Nightshade!
Okay but I plan on using a 3500 per woofer or running them strapped at .5 ohms. Do you think a Zv2 could handle that type of power? I would just wait for the Nightshade v2 if you have it ready for me by next summer. Or what's the chance I can get you to build me a monster sub?!?!?!?!?

For burps ? Sure... I ran two 3500s @ 0.25 each on a single Z v.2 prototype for burps (7200 clamped).
For daily continuous power you would want a Nightshade v.2 to handle a 3500D per, IMO.

I'm only planning on buying a pair of 12's to burp. I will keep my Nightshades to run for daily and probably recone them as I go and you get better soft parts for them as I always have. I think I might rather wait for the Nightshade v2's. I'm a while out before I can get a pair of subs anyway, that's why I said next summer. I have these things to do in this order: install qlogic kicks and component in my car, wire up another amp for them, install my new DC Power alternator, buy a pair of saz3500d's, then get a pair of 12's or a single 18 to run. I think that the 12's will be louder than a single 18, but you never know. I'm setting a goal of a 155 for the upcoming season. Honestly with more power, the alt I'm getting, and another D3100 in back and up front to replace my Deka I think that I'll be able to do it. Hopefully the Focus will cooperate with that kind of spl in it. Also forgot to mention that I need to install the deadener that I got from you before finals too.

Ray, can you give me any tips on replacing the alt in my car since you guys messed with Jose's? I have a buddy that is a certified mechanic that is going to help me for a small fee. Otherwise I have to take it to a shop that said it will be $160 to install it for me. Which isn't a bad price since I won it in a raffle that I paid $60 for the tickets, but I need to do it the most money efficient way as possible. Walt's got a spool of wire that I want too, no extra money ftl
