I think this was talked about before.
I think Team Eastgate would have an easy win. Most shows are at Fred's shop and they would always be there.
Team Nemesis is basically just getting started in NSPL, but could do really well.
Team Outcast and Team BorderMotorsports don't have enough members in my opinion to compete for this title.
Team High X-Cursion would have to attend more shows than ever before.
Eastgate would have an easy win.

Just my .02

My apologies, i meant team numbers as far as hard core and dash scores. you total the average score for the entire team. It will work and plus it will make you want to get louder..... I hope this brings out more competitors and higher numbers? If you look over the nspl history, the numbers are amazing..... [Eek!]

If you look at the records over the years, you will see louder and louder every year. less amps and more power and better box designs!

Hey chad is their any way you can do a blast from the past, and post some old records from the past season's from over the years and i will try to point out the comparisons as far as the tl readings?

This is also due to cheaper and better amp technology. Back in 1995, a USAmps 2000X dealer cost was right at $700. That was for 2000 watts at 4 ohm. The best subs in 95 were Strokers, and those cost a fortune.

Nowadays, amps are half the price (and 1/4 the quality), and there are alot more used high end subs for sale cheap. People then were more serious and dedicated because they had ALOT of money invested in their setup.

Nowadays, a Fayettevillian could go to Bragg Pawn with $1000. They could pick up a Sunshine Audio amp, a pair of used DD's and put up a nice strong number. If they don't do well or didn't like the sport, they could sell it qucikly local on Craiglist or Ebay it (we didn't have that option in 1995). People stuck it out longer because of the investment.

Of course box design has improved, but alot has changed due to pricing and availability...

agree with alan completely. used to it was hard to find a 1500-2000 watt amp. 5k or more was completely unheard of, and on top of that the subs wouldn't take it.

The numbers in my sig. 159.4 was with 24 Bostwick 12's and 8 Autotek 250hc's. That truck was sold to Erik Reid. The 158.2 was with 6 Stroker 15's and 6 Us Amps VLX-50's, the box was sold to Alan Thompson, Erik Reid got the subs and amps, and that truck was sold to Fred jr.

I call them Sunshine Audios just as a simple joke. Sundown is a goofy name.

OT: I put a 3500 whatever amp in a guys car about 3 weeks ago. Homeboy got it from Bragg Pawn and had us install it in a Charger. Even with the OEM battery and a huge Kinetik battey, that damn thing still had voltage drops below 10v. He splurged for the amp, nice power kit, huge battery...but only got the 3500 series DD 12s. I told him he needed the 95s, and he didn't believe me until he smelled the 35s.

We got to talking about the $1K price tag on the box and how that would have been a $2.5K amp 10 years ago...
