I would like to announce to everyone that beginning Aug 1, 2009, the highest honor in SPL excellence will begin. And this era will be the NSPL SPL Competition Hall Of Fame. With the forming of NSPL in 1995, I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the finest competitors the sport has ever seen. Competitors who were great sportsman/sportswomen, die hard competitors, and great engineers/designers in doing what we all love, TO BE LOUD! We have decided to honor these individuals by, making them permanent fixtures in NSPL History. This is only fitting as we will celebrate 15 years of Competition this August 2009. For the past year we have worked on this project, which will have nominees each season to be inducted into the Hall of Fame (HOF). I want everyone to understand that there will be a main difference between the NSPL (HOF) and other HOF's. An individual can be retired or still competing and be selected. Also, to be inducted the competitor must have competed in NSPL. As the list grows over time some of you will be surprised at the names, as most only know them from other orgs. This years class will be announced before Finals and probably a few at a time. This will allow us to make contact with the individuals up for nomination. We hope to have a few to attend the 2009 NSPL World Finals on Sept 19-20 at South of the Border, SC. More details will be announced later this month (Aug). So, for now NSPL Nation stay tuned!

I would imagine that Scott Bowman with the Blue Nissan with the twelve Rockford 12" subs and also the Green Nissan with Two Memphis Mojo 15's in a wall would be a candidate??

We talked about this at the last show I was at. I think everyone will be a little surprised at some of the veterans/legends of SPL have come through the NSPL lanes.
