Piezzo, you do realize that everytime you switch classes you forfeit any record that you might have set?

that's also what fred told me. you can only have a record in one power class. so you could have hardcore and 0-2500, but not 2500-5000 also.

What about two different vehicles in different classes? Like one in truck/suv and one in trunk.

Ok, but by setting a record and then forfeiting it, the previous record set by the other competitor will replace the one you set so technically whatever record you set does not exist.

I believe this is ok but you might want to ask Fred Jr. when you see him.

There was controversy 2 years ago about a competitor holding World Records in 4 classes so to eliminate that you have to choose a class and basically stick with it. If you decide to move up or down a class you forfeit your record as well as you points for the class that you moved from.

What does it matter if I set a record for all trunk classes? Wouldn't that mean someone has to step up and take it from me. Seems like that would be punishing some one who is good enough to take multiple records esp. if that is all they care about.

i guess it causes some people to lose interest. if you set the bar too high others don't bother trying. but i also don't see a problem with people being able to do more than one.

I think that it should be allowed if you use two different vehicles like Derrick was wanting to do. As long as there isn't one person using a single vehicle taking down every class then it should be fine. For example say that Ryan wants to compete in every wall class and he happens to be the loudest in every class. It's probably going to upset a few of the other wall guys to the point that they might quit coming to shows.

What is the difference if someone takes first place at every show in one class? If that same person was to set records in a different power class then that would allow someone else to take first in the other class.

actully zack thats what im doing shaking up all the wall classes ,my personal goal is to have some type of record in one dash class and one hardcore class, and if it means people have to step up to beat me then so be it,thats what i call competition, lendell, auten, ryan, have beaten me before so it shouldnt be a big deal with me uping my game in challedging the whole wall class ,lendell your wright about forfeting my record by changing classes ,but i plan on gaining other records in other classes ,but at the same time the person who holds the record but dont beat my score should know who is lord vader in that class.

I know but when we had Finals in Roanoke Rapids that year it was a BIG MESS so to eliminate that he decided not to allow it anymore.

What Pizo is simply saying is he doesn't care about the forfeit. It's about personal goals for himself in the wall classes. I believe it's more than comp, to some of us it's putting in the work and being proud of your work! As far as andrew 2 years ago, that was awsome to do that? 4 records at one show,Ryan the same thing... those are the personal goals to me?

I do have a question? Why would you lose points if you're still in the wall classes no matter if you change classes?

If I remember correctly, you are only allowed to move once between classes and keep your points.

i would definitely like some competition in my class. that's why i ran lower classes before. it seemed everyone kept avoiding my class, so i moved. yes the points being lost is to prevent people from switching. maybe we need just 2 wall classes instead of however many we have. i really would like to have a reason to work on the jeep for the first time in 4 years.
