Seats still fit after all these years
and would you look at all the available space [Eek!]
I think I can easily fit a nice setup back there and make the car class a real possibility this year to have some fun [Wink]

not thread jacking but on a side note I was wondering why hardly none of the NSPL would compete in the Comp Only show at border? I was sure with all the talk about taking records that some one would have stepped up to the plate since noone would come to SC and we came to NC and still no action whats the deal?? can some one anwser that one?

I had planned on running a few classes at the Border show but I had a family emergency so I could not attend. I'm still looking forward to competing in Comp Only shows.

No book for you. I was going to wait until Walt actually built the car to tell him but I'll go ahead and say it now so he doesn't waste all that time and money. First read this and tell me Walt why you AREN'T allowed to compete in the car class.

2009 NSPL Classes

The following classes are 12 volt and for competitors who do not work in the car audio industry (Sales people, Installers, Store Owners, Manufacturers Reps)

Beginner 0-1000 watts (For First Time Competitors to run for 1 season)
Beginner 1001-1800 watts (1-Extra Battery)
*(Cars, Truck’s, and SUV’s)
**(One run of 4 gauge power wire)
***(Based on Amplifier's Maximum Output Power)

Trunk 0-1800 watts (1-extra batteries)
Trunk 1801-3600 watts (2-extra batteries)
Trunk 3601watts-up (3-extra batteries)
Trunk Hardcore
*(Cars with rear Trunk Storage Area, Seats/Arm rest may be folded down)
**(One run of 1/0 power wire per Extra Battery)
***(Based on Amplifier's Maximum Output Power)

Car 0-1800 watts (1-extra batteries)
Car 1801-3600 watts (2-extra batteries)
Car 3601 watts- up (3-extra batteries)
Car Hardcore
*(Cars must have a rear seat fold down)
**(One run of 1/0 power wire per Extra Battery)
***(Based on Amplifier's Maximum Output Power)

Truck/SUV 0-1800 watts (1-extra batteries)
Truck/SUV 1801-3600 watts (2-extra batteries)
Truck/SUV 3601 watts-up (3-extra batteries)
Truck/SUV Hardcore
*(Quad/Extra Cab Trucks, SUV’s, Van’s must have rear seat)
***(One run of 1/0 power wire per Extra Battery)

I'll go ahead and point it out to you incase you missed it. It says that the following classes are for those people that DON'T work in the car audio industry. Walt you DO work in the car audio industry at a retail store that sells quite a few reputable car audio brands. So since this isn't Competition Only and Fred won't let you slide on the rules you aren't even allowed to compete in the class to begin with. Unless you want to quit your job and go work somewhere else just to run in my class, be my guest then. Besides you go ahead and do what you want anyway. If you wan't to run my class then so be it, I don't mind watching you get dq'ed if you try to set a record in it. Not to mention that I haven't even put a spl box in my car yet. I'm still working with a daily box that is tuned to 37hz and is peaking 10hz away from the resonant frequency of my car.

I'M NOT AFRAID OF LOSING TO SOMEONE THAT ISN'T ALLOWED IN MY CLASS. KEEP TRYING COOKIE
[Razz] [Razz] [Razz]

Oops I said that I didn't want you to waste any time, but it looks like you already did by putting those ugly ass back seats back in your car.

We already told you guys before. Our vehicles aren't set up for Comp Only. My own personal vehicle would get thrown into the wall class where I'm not even going to be competitive at all with only 3400 watts. Not to mention the show in Fayetteville where Chuck competed and got thrown into another class cause someone cried about his box being over the window line. Also I didn't have the money to compete in 3 organizations myself. My first love is Bassrace so that's a given, next I prefer NSPL since my car is legal for it. So I only planned on two organizations to begin with. Comp Only wasn't really up for consideration on my part from the get go.

well I guess it was to much for you to chance!! since you had to run the 149.9 class all by yourself!! not sure if it was Derrick or walt that scared you off? but you are the one that always talks about wanting competiotion but at the show you ran from it with your tail between your legs!! oh and by the way if money was such a big issue for you you should have run in comp only first since you are the greatest thing since sliced bread you could have won 100.00 dollars and you could have run all the class you wanted!! but yet agin you still are looking at the small picture!! or are you just scared of the competition from Derrick or walt? or maybe some of the other guys that can bass race pretty good!! keep in mind this is in all good fun so dont get in a wad over the whole thing!!

Here you go again Zach running your mouth. Yes we have updated our rules to allow people who work the industry to compete in other classes. Haven forbid that we like seeing the competition but we also figured that with the internet no one really has an advantage on pricing anymore. Oh then it must be the experience oops sorry but there alot of people on teams that help everyone out no matter who they are or which team they are on. so not really an advantage either or If they really can't find anyone to help they can come us and we will teach them the stuff they need to do keep in mind they will be doing the work just with supervision. Sorry zach that you talk the game but are affraid to actually step in the ring with the big boys like walt derrick DJ and the rest I have forotten to mention

Zach, Zach, Zach. I love people like you. You are so passionate with your answers, right or wrong.

It's funny how up until the Border show, you welcomed the challenge of my Civic. Now, you want to make it so I can't compete in that class.
??????
You also said I could barely get a pair of 12's at most in my hatch. If you can see, I have about 19" to play with and if you also notice, my seats are in the "stock and locked postiton" not leaning forward.

Why did you run the Bass Race class with no competition? Why?

Playing below your peak freq? So? Where do you think my Crx peaks? 59hz, 60hz, 61hz?
I'm burping it at 49 hz. So? Still do over a 154db and Bass Race in the 149.9 class as you well know now.
Do you want me to build and burp the Civic at 49hz? That would also be 10hz below it's peak.

Yes, my seats are ugly. That's what happens whne you leave them outside for over 2 yrs. My car is ugly too. However, one thing the Master Yoda alwys taught me is that "Ugly is Loud"

I knew if I ran the 149.9 class I was going to get this response even thought that's what the car was origionally built for in the first place, but say what you will. I could sit here and fight you guys on the net all day long or actually work on my car to get louder. This trying to call me out bs is getting old in just about every topic that gets started in this section.

It's obvious that some of you just don't like me, well that's not my problem. If you don't like me then find some other way to deal with it other than trying to gang bang me on an online forum like you guys do all the time. I get sick of replying to all the crap up here to the point that I'm laughing at pretty much everything I see.

It's also funny how I just read the Comp Only web page and it says that one who works in the industry or has family that works in the industry is considered a pro. Now why the phuck make rules if you change them half way through the season? I just don't like your organization period! I have no interest competing there at all /story.

Like I also said Walt do whatever you want, but first please get yourself and your merry band of men off my nuts. It's getting kinda hard to breathe around here with all of you on me all at once. My biggest issue right now is money. I don't have a ton of it since I just bought a brand new home. PLEASE ENTER MY CLASS ALL YOU WANT, I'M LOSING MY DESIRE TO COMPETE WITH PEOPLE THAT INSISTS ON WANTING TO CHANGE RULES TO AN ORGANIZATION TO HELP THEMSELVES BENEFIT ALL THE TIME. AS FOR BASSRACE I'M NOT SCARRED OF A SINGLE ONE OF ANY OF YOU. TALK ALL THE SH!T YOU WANT. I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEND WHEN I DECIDED TO RUN 149.9 ANYWAY SO I WAS PREPARRED FOR YOUR ONLY LINE OF DEFENSE AGAINST ME.

Oh yeah Stan I would have actually considered competing in your wanna be bassrace format if you would fix your god damn timer. Lie, say it's the same all you want I don't care. I know it's different than what I'm used to running in a REAL bassrace event. I'm sure though if I ever see you again it will be "fixed" and working fine. I also asked some of your competitors what they thought about it being off but that was my mistake from the first place asking people that don't have a ton of experience bassracing at live shows on the official meter used at Db Drag World Finals. All I know is the pause between Ready and Set last for more than a half second or so like it does on Fred's meter. That's why when I practiced on yours going against Walt I started early. Funny thing is I didn't start early on Fred's and I've got the count down in my head. The really funny thing is the ONLY meter I've EVER redlighted on is YOURS. Coincidence? I doubt it, fix your sh!t.

So Walt, whatcha got for me? Build your car to whatever frequency that you want. I'm rebuilding my car for a spl setup so it will be using everything that it can to get as loud as it can. Oh yeah, I still don't think that your going to have enough room in your car for whatever sub or subs, your amps, and your batteries all in that tiny hatch so give it your best shot. It's not my fault if Fred won't let you compete in the class since you don't technically qualify for the class to begin with. I promise I won't say a word, you've got my word on it. It will just be that much funnier when I beat you with less testing (since I don't even own a term lab and have to drive almost and hour and a half away to use one)

Also Walt why such the hardon for me now? I've always got along with you and never had a single problem with you. We've talked on the phone and never had a conflict until now. You want to beat me so bad, and why? What did I do to you other than trust you when I talk to you, and try to be a friend to you? Now all of this for what? I guess I should not try to be so friendly in the future and attempt to be someone's friend who apparently doesn't seem to like me too much, but when no one else is looking talks to me and treats me completely different. Big question is what did I ever do to you?

I hate to tell you but all this got started becuase of the post here!! and it has nothing to do with you!! I am sorry that you think that you are the only person in the world but I guess you wouldn't know that since you cant see past the end of your own nose!! no one is out to get you and know one realy cares what you do with your car!! just keep in mind you had been talking all kind of trash about how you are the greatest thing in bassrace and you have been beeten several times!! and besides you of all people should know that you need to be a little louder if you think that you can compete in the 49.9 class and be consistant!! and as far as red lighting you should be able to start late and still do a 49.9 but since you cant then you are just not loud enough to even be competive in that class!!

I'll add one last thing since I've already got the last three posts anyway. I'm not scarred about any competition. I honestly think that your Civic hatch is a louder car than my ZX3. It's basically a CRX, and gets loud with very little. If you want to prove something buy the same exact car as me and then we'll go head to head to see who can make the car louder. You probably won't because you don't have the money, just like I really don't have the money to rebuild or buy new equiptment for my car to make it louder. So that is the biggest reason I don't want you in my class right now. If we had the same vehicle or I didn't know that that hatch is already louder than a ZX3 then I'd say come right in. I called it a cheater car for a reason. Fred doesn't allow crx's in the class for a reason, but hell since you want to be more competitive why don't you just ask him if you can run that in my class while your at it? Phuck it let's forget about classes all together and have everyone run against everyone like way back in the day. Would that make you guys happy that want some competition in your classes? You see what this is leading to, you give someone and inch and they want an mile.

Zach, I did not mention your name in this thread until you posted and you have done nothing to me. If this is going to come between a friendship, then I will not try to ever compete against you.
I have no one to compete against in my class usually. I cannot move up because I cannot afford to run the bigger classes and be competitive.
All I want to do is compete and have fun.

As far as Stan's meter and not having experience.
I've competed on multiple meters including the 2007 World Finals and I still have seen no difference.

Like I have said, this is all about fun. If it is going to bother you that bad, is it ok to run 0-1800 or 3601-up? I will stay out of your class.

Zach the funny thing is fred came over and checked it out. everything is good to go according to fred I cannot you are premateur on your starts. the really bad thing is everyone that was standing there watching was laughing because you started on ready not set or whenever you start. but besides that you never red lighted again it must have been a miracle. Maybe you should get the timmer in your head checked out. or just man up and stop making excuses for your screw ups. [Obscene] [Obscene] [Obscene]

For your information Zach the rule was not changed half way through the season it was changed at the very beginning. you can talk all the crap you want but the fact is that you red lighted again and you seem to consistent at doing that. As far as bass race events we do them and again no one but you have problems. so I can careless. But you should really stop talking crap and calling out people and then go change classes or when they come throw the rules in there face casue you donn't want to get beat. I'm bored with you and your excuses [Roll Eyes]

Raymond I'm going to respond but this doesn't have sh!t to do with you so try and stay out of it please. My car is loud enough to bassrace 149.9, that's why I didn't have any trouble doing it 3 times in a row at the Border show. Not to mention that I could have kept going if I could have talked Steve into sitting on the car longer. I don't blame him for not wanting to anyway since it's probably painful sitting up there to begin with. Why the hell am I not loud enough? I can do it multiple runs in a row, and also do it with the car off. The start is everything in bassrace, but I don't expect someone that doesn't have a clue what he's doing in it to know that. If you look at every Bassrace world champion they will tell you the start is the most important part of bassrace. Weather you have the head room or not the start is crucial. I don't know if you were watching the last run at Border or not, but I started late and STILL did a 149.9 even though I broke out and came back down. I never said I was unbeatable, everyone loses except Tommy Mckinney.

You are pathetic that this is all you have on me trying to get me fired up. I told my wife and my teamates that I guarantee I'll get flamed by these guys if I run in 149.9, and look what's happening. You are pretty predictable guys, just like I know the same exact thing would happen if Fred lets Walt in my class. I will come back down to 139.9 at a show to show you guys what's up, but since the intention of my build was for 149.9 that's where I plan on staying at for now. Next show is in Sylva, NC on the 27th of June. If no one is there to bassrace me in the 139.9 class you are pussies and are scarred of me. Please show up to this event. I may win or lose doesn't matter I'll show up. It's funny that the one person who beat me in competition hasn't talked a bit of sh!t about it. It's the rest of you guys in the peanut gallery making jokes or remarks. I guess those that can't do just talk sh!t about those who can.

I'll also ask you the same thing I asked Walt, Raymond. What the hell did I do to you? I thought that we were cool and now you jump up on here all in my business like I did you wrong or something. I didn't do sh!t to you, so if you want to try and play me here on the net next time don't act like everything is all cool when we meet in person unless it really is. That's the biggest thing here. I don't see where this hostility or animosity from you and Walt is coming from. I didn't do crap to either of you and now your ganging up on me trying to prove what?
