If you are talking about the car 1800-3600 class Walt, remember everything has to be behind the rear seat.
Not only that Walt you can also only have 2 extra batteries that are 12 volts with 2 extra runs of 0 guage. On top of that I've seen how big the the hatch is in your Civic and I doubt that you can fit much more than a pair of 12's back there. I would also be willing to bet that it would take more than 3600 watts to get those 12's louder than my 15's off of 3400 watts.

By all means though I'd gladly take you on anyday. You better be able to bassrace it in 149.9 too cause that's where it's looking like I'll end up before the season is over.

Just remember Walt I don't eat cookies, I burn them! [Razz]

This could be fun.

Steve, the rear seat is no problem.
Zach, just to give a little history that you probably don't know. I have never ran more than 2 extra batteries in my Civic or my Crx except when I had 16v. I am only running 2 extra batteries now in my CRX. NSPL rules are very generous.
Also 12's are the way to go. I personally think you should have stayed with them.
I have almost done your same # with only 1 12" and way less power.
Also, you may not know about my testing over the past 6-12 months. I have a termlab. I have a clamp meter. I have done much testing for Street B. NSPL will be much easier than Street B. Steve can tell you that I'm sure. 1 battery, car off.

I am not saying that I will beat you for sure. You may get louder, but as far as space goes, you are now limited by running 15's. I do know than those rules are easy though because I have ran with less for a long time. I have never had more than 1 run of power wire until recently I did run 2.

I'm not sure why I cannot get you guys to compete anywhere other than NSPL? Maybe you need the rules to be so generous? I don't know.
Guess we will see by Finals?

Well first off, I have not set any records.
However, with my best score to date being a 156, I would love to see you come down and do a 162+ in a hatchback car. Actually, I would pay to see those #'s.

I am pretty sure you would be Truck/SUV.
Raymond would have been Truck/Suv with his van so yours should be the same.

Like I said, you never know. It's always up to the judges, but Raymond is a no-wall setup and would have been in Truck/Suv. A van is more similar to an Suv.
I have even suggested that they change the name of the ama. class to hatch since that is all that can run it?
Oh, and I could definately see you crushig any of my #'s with a van. That would be to easy. Heck, Raymond is doing it now and doesn't really have a clue what he is doing with his setup (no offense Yoda as 6th orders are weird)

So you guys coming June 13th? Free Iasca entry for the longest drive?

it would actulay put you into the truck/suv I looked into nut decide to run in modifed so that I can do some testing with the van as it is long from done!! but it is always nice to be at shows!! I think that it would benifit a lot of people if you and your team would come to more shows! I like NSPL but they are not the only ORG in the world. It is also nice to meet new people and help people if you can. That is what I thik this sport should be about!! We all should be having fun and there are to many people that take this WAY to serius!! Just keep one thing in mind any records anyone sets means nothing if there is noone to follow the sport!! we all need to rember this when we think that we are better than everyone else!! I hope to see every oine at more shows and good luck to all

I've been competing with NSPL since 04,I will always support NSPL,as it is one of the oldest org's there is.For the most part, all our vehicles are built specifically for NSPL classes,we are not going to change our set-ups just to compete in another orgs format. That's just how we feel about it though.Look at what happened to my team member Chuck,he went to a competitiononly show, thinking he was going to be put in the truck/suv class. He didn't know the rules, about the window line,so since he was over the window line,he got thrown in the 1-2 wall class.Being below the window line would have a very minimal db loss,I would figure. So his first experience was not a very good one.

I certinaly can see your point on this it is hard to have a setup for more than one org. I ran into the same problem last year if you rember I got moved to insane with Alan Dante. But that is just the nature of the beast!! any way you look at I still would like to see more shows done together I think that it is a good fit for every one. I have seen the last few street bass classes grow and that has been a good class for a lot of people now that they are giving money out!! it was nice to see two full brackets. all I am saying is no matter where you compete at have fun!! hope to see every one on saturday at south of the border!!

Walt, if you think that the 151.2 that I've shown at the show in High Point is all that my car is got then you will be sadly disapointed when I unleash a little more of it at the Border show.

Like I said good luck fitting 2 12's, 2 batteries, and however many amps it takes to get yourself to 3600 watts. That's the kicker Walt, 3600 watts. I bet you never even clamped your setup when you had only 1 12 in the car. I would be willing to bet the amp that you ran was a Memphis 4k to do whatever number that you said you could do. Now try splitting that power between two woofers in a less than optimum box and see what you can get.

You told me that all you could do even in your Crx was a 150.3 off of a single Sundown saz1500 at .25 ohms. That right there is no doubt 2000 watts out of that amp since mine are producing 1700 at .5 ohms. Now go ahead and add another one even to your Crx and I will bet that your number is closer to mine, but I doubt that it is higher.

Unless you can get your Civic well over a 152 then this conversation isn't even necessary. But if you must come out and fill the void that Team Nemesis can't then so be it, you will fall just like they would have. I WILL GO AND GET MYSELF A CHEATER CAR SIMILAR TO THE ONE YOU RUN TO BEAT THE PANTS OFF OF YOU. Because you can still say your doing this and that out of your ride but until I see it I'm going to doubt it. Not to mention that my car is a DAILY car that I purchased for DRIVING and ended up making it loud. Unlike yourself who specifically bought your car to make loud and then drive. Hell if I wanted a loud car with a backseat I would have bought a Yugo or a VW Rabbit.

It's so lonely being at the top! Even when all my 1st place trophies keep me company. Think I may branch out once again and set another orginazation record since mine and Eagles are the most versatile in all orgs. What ya say Eagle trunk class comp only?

One last thing to add to my rant from above is that my particular box is a DAILY BOX as well. It is tuned to 37hz and is as loud as it is. My car's resonant frequency is 51hz. You already know how much louder I can get if I were to build an spl only box tuned much higher to make use of the car's peak frequency. So I just wanted to add that in when your saying that you can do such a number remember that I'm burping my car at 43hz with a daily box while I'm sure that you'll be using a fart setup with tones that you don't find in everyday music. That's okay though I can build an spl box too and is what I have planed for finals.

Wait a minute now. You are getting way off base.
My 1500 in the Crx is .5 ohm not .25. I have clamped it at 1400+ watts. With 2400 watts it was a 152+. Playing music daily and Bass Racing.
Just ask Robert about it and Bass Race. LOL
I never said anything about what I could do in my Civic in a car class as I have never tested with the seats in.
Also, I have had my "cheater car" years before I started competing driving it daily as I still do except I have 3 cars that I consider daily drivers so it does sit from time to time.
And finally, you too can talk about doing this # and doing that #, but until we see it?????????

Jacob....there may be another surprize at Finals also [Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!]
Sounds like fun [Smile]

I'm just trying to get my Jeep back on the road... gas tank sprung a leak AGAIN and then I found a huge rust hole in my drivers floor pan. So I have *everything* out of the Jeep now fixing all that stuff. Such is SPL!
