Wow, I lose one time and now it's I need to practice bassrace. Don't make me bring up what really happened. We all know that Derrick didn't even qualify for 139.9 to begin with. Fred only let him rerun after he broke out because DJ went crying to him saying that he needed a rerun. I'm not sure if you or your team are familiar with the rules but that sh!t's not allowed in bassrace. Maybe in competition only or even nspl but not bassrace. So if you want to keep talking do so, but at least have a leg to stand on before you open your trap [Obscene] [Obscene] [Obscene]

Next time I won't under estimate my opponent no matter who he is. I figured that he wouldn't hold a 139.9 so I played it safe and look what happened. Even the sun can shine on a dog's ass some days and now you guys think that your the best team out there.

I'd be careful about what you say, cause I don't think that you want to cross Team High X-Cursion. You can take that however you want to. And don't tell me to calm down either cause you knew you'd get this kind of reaction when you started talking sh!t in the first place.

Now go run and tell all your buddies what I've said here. Derrick is the only one I have any respect for cause he's not talking any sh!t or flaunting anything like the rest of you that weren't even there. Derrick saw exactly what I was trying to prove and where I was coming from and I believe that's why he hasn't tried to rub anything in, nor should he. You won't see me asking for chances to requalify ever if I don't make my brackets, but I don't expect a whole lot out of Team Nemesis anyway so....

I'm not pissed this is just how I am. I figured you would have found that out by now, but I guess not.

Keep talking cause that's the only thing that's going to motivate us to get even louder and better at what we do. All your doing is fueling the opposition, and I don't think that's what you want is it?

To add a few details, yes I went over in qualifying. I was disappointed in myself for that but oh well. It really wasn't a big deal to requalify but Fred said it was okay and I got the impression that people wanted to see us go head to head instead of each of us just winning our classes by default cause we were the only ones in them. Now had my requalifying bumped someone out of a full bracket I would have never done it. I just don't want to be looked at like a cheater for this cause that wasn't the intentions at all. I wanted in the 139.9 class not cause it was an easy win (I had 149.9 won by default) but because it was a challenge and that's where the fun is at for me. [Cool]

I hate that it went down like that because it's a "tainted" win. Thinking about it after the fact maybe we should have just accepted our wins in seperate classes and only done the exhibition run. You got to admit that the crowd was hyped for our runs. Maybe this can be the start of a rivalry that can aid in bringing more spectators back to the events. [Blob]

Trash talk is all good but keep this in mind; It's all in good fun. Don't take it personal, don't make it personal. [Smile]

Like I said Derrick I have all the respect in the world for you. You beat me fair and square and I admitted that. But when all of your teamates are coming out talking crap saying that I need to practice and you dominated the class it's a little much. Had I won the class you wouldn't have seen a post about it anywhere on the net cause I never post up when I win in bassrace, I let the show results do it for me. I never would have brought anything up, but like I said it's your teamates that agged it on and I'm not to thrilled with the way they're handling themselves.

Josh if I were you I would be loosing sleep over me getting louder cause if I remember correctly it was you that said you were going to get a car and come into my class to give me a run. Well, where's your car and how many db do you want me to beat you by? I know that a couple of you guys are pissy about me leaving your team and I can't blame you at all, but again you have to see it from my point of view and it was a good decision on my part.

I'm louder now that what I ever would have been on Team Nemesis so the fact that your talking crap tells me that you have hurt feelings about it even though you'll deny it. Just remember I never would have said a word if you guys wouldn't have kept pushing the buttons that you know would get a response out of me. You wanted a response and you got one, if you can't deal with it or don't like it you know the drill.

By the way, there isn't even going to be bassrace at the Dillion show to my knowledge so I guess I don't have to do any practicing then do I.

I truly have no hurt feelings about you leaving the team. You were the only arrogant loudmouth on the team, so for that reason I am glad you left.

As for being louder now on your new team, you never wanted to burp your car before, you were all about bass race. If I can find the post I will quote you, but you said something along the lines of "getting loud is easy, controlling your system takes skill."

I would bring a car to challenge you, but with the wife getting laid off and times being tight, I figured paying the bills and keeping my house were more important.

The only reason I ever respond to you in the first place is to watch you fly off the handle and get your panties in a bunch. It's quite funny actually.

But in all seriousness, I think you have an inferiority complex.

Wow ....this blew way up ...Just clarify so its all out in the opening ..I asked you atleast a half dozen times about getting louder .You exact words and I quote"I dont care about burps ,all i care about is bass race and beating Adam<team prodigy> "And to quote you again "theres no body that can even give me a challenge in bass race on the east coast, all the good bass racers are in Ohio "And to touch on some things ...In Sumter you got beat twice by Jay..you red lighted and Jay didnt know you red lighted and he broke out ,and what did i do ..Get you a rerun and you lost again .But thats enough on that ...it was offered to you by 3 team members to give you meter time and offered help to get you louder ..But its all good ,and as far as the team I made a mistake by even offering you a spot ..It didnt take long to see ,your true colors ..Just so you know ,you were on your last straw ...By vote .So you were gone anyway .Well ive said my piece ...you still have 1.5 DB to reach that 3 db ,you were promised .I would offer some advise ..But ill keep it to myself ..O and from Now on we wont have anybody in your bass race class ..I see you like to compete against yourself. So back on topic ..We will be @ this show ready will to take on all team high x guys ...So bring it !!!!!So in the future keep my name or my team names out of you mouth

First off Dj I'm not sure if you know the rules to bassrace at all but if someone redlights and the other person brakes out the run is reran no matter what you would have to say about it or not. That's considered a double fault and no matter who made the mistake first doesn't make a difference. I've seen it happen at an event where a competitor supposedly redlighted and the other overshot and the run was reran since each competitor faulted. Secondly I wouldn't have redlighted if the comp only guys wouldn't have adjusted the start time for bassrace to make it differently than that in real bassrace. You know as well as I in Bassrace you can go on set, not on go as they did in the comp only show that I went to. Third, when the hell did I lose after that? If I do remember right I happened to win that show and take home some money for myself too. I not only have the trophy to prove it, I also do believe that it's on the stats page for comp only as well.

Remember you guys were the ones to cast the first stones here. Like pretty much any other time I retaliate to something that is directed towards myself. Otherwise nothing ever would have been said. It shows how much class that you have when one of your members wins agianst me no matter how the win was you all go and act like it was the best thing that ever happened. Like Derrick said the win is tainted, but still a win. He, you, and I know as well what happened and I'm not mad about that at all. I just asked for an exibition match against Derrick and that's not what I got, but either way you look at it yes I did lose. It's not the first time, nor will I stop talking either. Some people are competitive in stuff they do and the ones that usually don't like that are the ones getting beat. Now if the win would have happened and it would have been completely legit and I was saying it wasn't right of you guys talking crap about it then you'd have all the right in the world to call me whatever you want to, but that's not the case now is it.

I knew this would come out sooner or later cause I heard all the sh!t you guys were talking about me behind my back. I knew there were hard feelings even though you said there weren't. I knew you were cursing me the minute I hung up the phone with you from telling you I didn't want to be on your team any longer either. I was the one that was mature about this not saying a single word about it until you guys had to start your sh!t first talking over a bs win in High Point.

And Josh getting loud is easy, that's why Team High X-Cursion has already given me 2.6 db that you know of within a 2 month period. Dj I don't know where you get 1.5 db from but maybe a remedial math course is in your future. The last score I did as a Team Nemesis member was a 148.6, then Team High X-Cursion told me if I became a member they would guarantee I would be louder at the show I was at. Steve and Chuck touched my car and an instant 149.4 popped up and after a rerun in the lanes to confirm a 149.3 was the confirmed record. Since that I've put up a 151.2 that you know of, but there's more there that you surely don't know about. Why would I let it all hang out if I don't have too? Those words may sound familiar cause one of your teamates just said them on team ol skool.com in a recent post. Anyway let's get it straight then a 148.6 to a 151.2 is exactly 2.6 db's of gain. I made it official with you later in the week after the show cause I was man enough to tell you I was leaving instead of just turning my back on you. I at least had that much respect for you, but I can see that you didn't even appreciate that.

Anyway I'm still not going to hold a grudge and will continue to not talk sh!t about you guys. I haven't since I left and really have no reason to. It's not cause I don't want to cause you guys starting it makes me want to unload, it's cause I'm trying to be somewhat civil cause we have to face that we will probably share quite a few events with one another and if the sh!t talking continues it will probably turn into a physical confrontation at some point and is not what competing is about. Try not to worry about it cause I'm sure not, my only worry is to get louder and try to make the Bassrace world finals in Tulsa. Trust me when I say I haven't talked any crap about you guys, I have better stuff to do.

By the way Dj here's the scores for you from that comp only show. And the only reason there was a rerun is because I told you to tell the judges that there should be a rerun because those are the ACTUAL RULES in bassrace, not because you were the one that came up with it. So where's the point where I lost twice? And by all means please ask any experience Bassrace competitor or judge what happens when there is a double fault in a bassrace run. And if they tell you otherwise then please tell Sam Horn that he was running his shows wrong

130.0 To 139.9
--------------
1. 139.9 Zach Long 139.8 139.8 139.9 139.8
2. 139.8 Jason Mccall 130.0 139.6 139.8
3. 139.2 Jose Napky 139.2 139.2
4. 137.2 Jacob Fuller 135.0 137.2
5. 139.8 Derrick Haddock 139.8
6. 138.9 Wes Jackson 138.9
7. 134.1 Todd Hardwick 134.1

By the way who did I beat at this event? That's right Derrick so watcha got to say about that?

kthanksbye/thread

And if your trying to say that the best score I did while I was one of your team members was a 149.7 then you'd be right about that I did do a 149.7 with a different setup and NO THANKS TO YOU AT ALL!!! That 149.7 was achieved by ME [Obscene] [Roll Eyes] So what was the actual benefit of me joining the team to begin with?

If I owe anyone any thanks for that 149.7 that I achieved it was Jacob for letting me test at his shop, thanks Jake.

I DID A 149.7 WITH 2 12'S AND ONLY DID A 148.6 WITH THE 2 15'S. Team High X-Cursion never worked on my car when it had the 2 12's in it and neither did you. I was responsible for that score and no one else. As far as being able to read, reading>Joo. If you would have read my post before this you would have seen that's what I wrote.

So one more time so that you may understand it it. Yes I did a 149.7 but was with 2 12's in my car in a completely different box. Then my best score with the 2 15's while on your team was a 148.6, and the best that I've put up while on Team High X-Cursion is a 151.2 How hard is that to understand? Steve said he would guarantee 3 bd off the current best score in my car with the 15's which was a 148.6 I NEVER DID A 149.7 WITH THE 15's. So agian I ask where are you lost? Next time read before you post.

Cliff notes for the slow people:

My score with the 2 12's before Team High X-Cursion, but not with any help from anyone on Team Nemesis- 149.7db (That's where Dj's getting a 149.7 from)

My system right before I left Team Nemesis consisting of 2 15's best score of- 148.6db

The same exact system after joining Team High X-Cursion with the 2 15's- 151.2db

The total gain after switching teams with the system that was in the car- 2.6db (which is not the total output of the system at all yet)

Dj is trying to say that my best score with the 15's is a 149.7, but that was with 2 12's and was the system that I had before I went to 15's. My 15's weren't as loud as the 12's when I first put them in the car and was still on Team Nemesis. Within 2 months of joining Team High X-Cursion I was up to a 151.2 certified which is a 2.6db gain from the same exact system to the same exact system but with help from Team High X-Cursion.

Where are you lost Dj? You know I never did a 149.7 with the 15's so what are you even talking about? No I have not gained 3 db over my best score ever while I was on your team, but that wasn't what was guaranteed. What was guaranteed was a 3 db increase over the score that I was doing with the 15's at the time and trust me it's well over that mark. You'll see the true number when I feel like putting it up.

RULES FOR STREET BASS>> [B][/B]

Here you go Dj. Please tell me you don't understand these rules and while your at it tell Sam Horn the inventor of bassrace he officiates his events wrong.

The following violations will result in a score of ZERO...
Red Light – Playing your sound system BEFORE the 30 second clock begins.
Over Shot – Exceeding your classes’ maximum score at any time during the run. (Example: A contestant scoring a 132.0 at any time during an elimination run in the 120.0 – 129.9 class would result in a score of ZERO.)
Over Rev – Revving the motor in excess of 2000 RPM’s.
Venting – Opening a door, trunk, hatch, sun-roof, window, etc. during the run.
High Freq – Playing a bass note in excess of 80 Hz to obtain a maximum average score.
Test Tones – Using test tones or sine sweeps for program material.

Please tell me you don't see the overshot violation as one of the violations that will also result in a 0. Next time don't just pick and choose the rule that you want to show, show all of them instead of just pointing out what your trying to justify. I never said that a redlight didn't result in a 0, but if you do both both competitors are disqualified and there is a rerun.

I was told by the comp only guys that their rules were exactly the same as bassrace rules, so if that's not the case then they lied to me on two different occasions when I competed with them. I specifically asked them two different times at each event if their rules were the same as the bassrace rules and they told me yes. If they aren't the same then they shouldn't tell people competing in their organization that they are identical.
