Messing around in my Jeep and clamping some power to SPL results [Smile]

Peak score :
153.4 dB (did not clamp power this time)

Power Clamp Results :
Volume 35/50 - 148.8 dB / 1230 watts
Volume 40/50 - 152.0 dB / 2990 watts
Volume 50/50 - 153.3 dB / 4960 watts

Each 3000D wired to 1 ohm nominal (0.9 DCR - so a "high" 1 ohm load). I didn't check the actual impedance rise, though.

Since adding new dampening to the floor and changing my amp rack I haven't tested for a new frequency - I am still using 53 Hz like from my dampener log. I also have not played with box position yet - with my new rack the box is farther forward than before.

So - it could probably be a little louder but I am just playing around with the prototype Nightshade v.2 right now [Smile]

I don't qualify for any of the "clamped" classes since I am on 16v but I wanted to share anyway!

Hopefully see you guys at the next show - I'll have two 15s then and hoping to show a good number [Smile]
