I am planning on the continuation of NSPL in the Ohio region but I will need continued sport as well as increased support to make this an ongoing activity. The last 2X event didnt go so well as far as the number of entrants, so I need some folks to step up and help support NSPL in this area for it to continue. It's still early in the season so I am sure it will get much better in the months ahead.

I hate having to compete in NoWall just because I work for a 12V retail shop.
I'm in a 4seat hatchback(Mazda MX-3) with a Street-B legal setup.

That rule is stupid. [Mad]

Before this gets out of hand.....let me say this. This post wasn't started,as a talk trash post.I was simply justifying how usually there are always low scores,in the winter time, and you really don't see any of the heavy hitters, start to come out till this time of the season.I felt I was speaking for you guys as well, when I posted this topic. If you really read my post CAREFULLY,you will see what I was getting at.

No worries , its all in good fun and spirited competition. All of us Ohio area competitors are good natured people and I for one appreciate the motivation.

I love the fact that Greg Zoller has given us the chance to compete in the NSPL format. I will support the format every time he offers it. Greg and his wife Casey work very hard to bring everybody in this area a excellent show every time out. And I cant thank them enough for the excellent job they do.

The Ohio area has been a hot bed for spl competitors and I hope to see support for NSPL grow.

would i be in Truck/SUV 1801-3600 watts since i'll have 2 2k amps and 2 extra bats...

or, because i am maxxsonics' team captain, does that cause me to move up to no wall?

and if i'm in nowall, would i be in No Wall 0-24” since i have 2 amps and 2 bats for 2 subs.

or do i have to be in No Wall Hardcore 0-24” because i have a cut through?

and of course, even more importantly. does all equpiment have to be beind the bpillar like in dbdrag?

my subs will be in my bed. BUT, my amps will be mounted on my ceiling since its a single cab truck.

will the amps in front of the bpillar on the roof cause me to be in extremely modified or insane ? those owuld suck, seeings how i'm only expecting around a 150 from the truck.

I think you will be good to go in the SUV/Truck class Jay.

I have not built a pure NSPL setup yet and am not 100% clear on the rules but hopefully we can all get acustomed to the NSPL format and put our best effort forward.

I am pretty sure you would have to run No Wall 0-24. Amps should not be a problem because according to the rules, the "enclosure" has to be behind the b-pillar.
As always though, I would double check with Fred.

Sorry...I am now just getting up here.First Jay...... welcome to NSPL.I am sure you will love the format, and we(NSPL) really love the fact that you guys are taking interest,in NSPL.And to answer your question...you would be in 0-24 nw.And yes...... everything has to be behind the B-pillar,just like Drag. And 0-24 hardcore is just a class for 0-24 competitors to burp their set-up,with the sensor at the kick, with driver door opened,or window down,or both, which ever works the best for you.I hope I have answered all of your questions for you.

ok so i'll be in 0-24 nowall. sweet.

now, i'm still confused about my amps though.

will i be legal with them hanging from the roof? obviously in front of the bpillar since its impossible for them to be behind the pillar in a single cab.

and i have no desire to put my amps in the bed.

i'm building the truck kind of old school. the amp rack will be an early 90's version, compete with fans and plexiglass..

basically the trucks being built as a demo vehicle, and will compete in whatever it falls in. but i'm not goign to sacrifice the build, to comply with any orgs rules. thats why its not competing in dbdrag either. only bass race and maybe psychlone.

so, hopefully the amps are legal in nspl as well. because i am intersted in it. and i'd like to see the org grow up this way.

i think its great for everyone involved. obviously its great for greg as a promotor. but its also great for competitiors as well. your gas dollars are worth so much more when you go to a show and compete in 4 or 5 classes in 2 diferent orgs. instead of driving across the state, burping 3 times and going home.

nothing i hated more than driving for four hours, to get 15 seconds of burp time. and sitting for hours in between each one.

now i can actually go to a show and compete in 3 nspl classes and bass race and psychlone...

sounds fun!

So who's coming out for the NSPL event on March 22nd in Ohio? We need the support from you guys to keeo it alive in the Midwest. I'm thinking the ESP format at all of the Ohio region shows will entice people to get into the NSPL swing of things since you get bonus points for entering into it. It's all about the cash baby.

With having bonus points for doing nspl, this will greatly improve participation in it since you would need those bonus points to win the esp money.
