I just wanted to say thanks to Steve and Chuck from Team High Excursion. They helped me today at the NSPL event in High Point. I was disapointed with my opening score of a 148.6, and after some quick parking lot testing these two guys helped me up to a score of 149.7 That was my previous high score in my car with the 12's that I had and this score was done with 15's. I've been loosing spl in my car for the past 3 months. My score with the 12's dropped off from a 149.7 to a low of 148.1 The last time I metered I was at the 148.1, and I dropped in 2 Nightshade 15's along with a Deka group 34 battery up front. Team High Excursion helped me gain 1.1 db's from the first score that I registered. I gained .5 db over my 12's score and was probably due to the new battery and the 1.1 that Steve and Chuck found was probably due to me switching to 15's. If I can find the 1.6 that I already lost over the past 3 months I should be at a 151.3 or even higher. Thanks again guys for your help. Team High Excursion is definately a spl force to be recogned with. I'm also glad I met you guys and had a chance to make some more spl friends.

Thanks for the props Zach. After all the pm's,and seeing the dissapointment, after your first score,we couldn't just let you settle for that.I honestly felt that you would really appreciate the help from us,that's why we had no problem helping you out.Keep striving for that 151,that I know is in there. To bad you are already a part of a team, because I would definately consider you being a Team High X-cursion member.

Steve is extremely knowledgeable. He helped out with my blue car back when I was running my 15's.
I wish he and the rest of them team would come out to more shows.
Wish I could have made the show too, but I had some problems at the Meca show.
Also, in hind sight, I am glad I didn't make it because it was already late after the Meca show and the ride home was very nasty and slow in the snow. It was after midnight when I got home.

Charles, how long before your epoxy failed? I've had mine on for 2-3 days now and no issues with it. I did use almost a whole tube of it on the single sub, but you do what you gotta do. I just hope that my other sub doesn't do the same exact thing cause they're a bitch to get out of the box since it's so tall. I'm going to continue to beat on it and if it happens again I'll probably take the subs back to have them fixed by Jacob. I have faith in the epoxy. I didn't just put it under the spider to glue it back to the basket I also put it all around the outside of the spider to fill in the gap all the way around the basket. It's kind of like an epoxy ring all the way around, and is much stronger than just putting it under the spider to glue it back down.

Yes I left Team Nemesis to join Team High X-Cursion. I felt that it was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up and will benefit me more at this current time in my spl career. Both of these teams are great and I wish Nemesis all the luck in the world. I look foward to seeing them in the lanes [Smile] I'm sure you'll see some big things since this move has been made [Wink]
