Can I mount a battery in the center of my rear seat? The seat will still fold down. I just have to cut out the arm rest so the battery would seat alway the way down in there. My car is a 4 seat hatch back. The back is made similar to that of a Ecplise. I looked at the rule buth it doesn't say anything about making changes to the seat. Just says the seat must still fold.

Steppin into my class Charles? [Smile] Should be a fun competiton between us since we're pretty much running the same equiptment in a hatchback car.

Also, I didn't know if you knew about this class but you only have to be 12" from the roof with your box in order for it not to be a wall. So you could build a bigger box in your car if you wanted.

Haven't got my subs yet, but they're built. I'm going to go and pick them up on Monday or Tuesday. Yeah, check the NSPL site it says that the car classes have to have the box at least 12" from the roof in order to be considered not a wall.

The rules are the NSPL website are old. Check the forum for '09 classes/rules. Anything that is not listed ask here or check with Fred.
But yeah, for NSPL, the rule is 12" from roof is not a wall.
