Me and rob tried this box design in his rex back in 05 and it sucked did a 153ish lol I can bet it was my fault that day we couldnt find the cutout we used for cutting subwoofer circles and I just decided to guess it lol On the way to my house to test the sub falls out of the box lol me and him put it back on and burped it and did a 153 ish lol oh man what was I thinking!

No offense to you or your teamates but Terry has been running a box similiar to that longer than they have been competing.
Hell, mine was simliar in Street B in 2005.
Me and rob copied david alfaros back in 04 finals is where we seen him running it and we tried it in 05 so I dunno if alfaro was the OG.
His was slightly different though I think it had 4-4" aero ports.
1LOUDSUV,competitors have been using external ports for years but it was The Alfaro's were the first to introduce the external ports in street class in 03 Finals. Brad firgard was the first to use them at a 3x back in Feb. 04. Rick Kempf used my internal port box design flip the port to external in his crx during 04 and was .2 db behind me with 1/2 power.
I'm not sure but on a Saturday evening back Aug 05,I was on the phone with David Alfaro 2 days before he died and he encouraged me to stay with external ports and I've been using them, winning with them,and tryin to perfect them to this day.
