*Note all maximum power ratings are based on the Official NSPL Power Rating. 1. All amplifiers will be Power tested during the SPL run using a Digital A/C Voltmeter And a Digital A/C Clamp meter to determine the amplifiers max power (wattage). 2. If the amplifier exceeds the manufacturers rated power then the amplifier will carry The adjusted NSPL Power Rating. If the amplifier falls below the manufactures rated Max power then, the clamped power will be the rating. The formula will be A/C Voltage x A/C Current= Max Power Example: 90 volts x 20 amps= 1800 watts Example: Manufactures rating is 4000 watts but clamps at 2500 watts, the clamped Power rating of 2500 watts is used for class placement. Ie….Trunk 1801-3600 watts. **NSPL reserves the right to test and rerate the power rating of any amplifier at anytime. The rerating of amplifiers is to place competitors in the correct NSPL classes.
