Just moved to Greensboro from Ohio. We moved since my fiance got a good job at a local hospital here as a RN. I on the other hand have no job. I am an experienced installer, a graduate of Mobile Dynamics, and also have a basic and first class MECP installer certificate. I would be willing to show samples of my work, and also work on a part time basis if necessary. I know the industry is dying, but I love this work more than anything else that I've ever done. I've worked as a carpenter for the last 2 years in Ohio as well as installing on the side. I have recently found out that the furniture and carpentry industry is coming to a complete hault here in NC too. If anyone can even reccomend a good shop to contact I would also appreciate the heads up. Thanks in advance to any replies.

Thank you sir. It looks like I'm going to need all of the luck I can find with the industry being in such bad shape. You know of any good shops in the area?

I haven't talked to Fred yet. I tried to call his shop yesterday, but there was no answer. I guess I'll just have to make the trip down there. Fort Bragg seems to be about 3 or so hours away, so that's out of the question.

The best thing to try to do is to start your own business, feed off the internet and make money off labor, otherwise most shops unable to afford good help will just pay you by the job.
