yes they did copy my setup! he call stetsom every day and RiaZ is a very good friend! i like him and i show him lots how my old setup works! i know he runs Mikko design i have lots pics from his car ! I can see very clear that you don't know S###T! i proud that i design my setup and winned 2 world finals and hold the world cup, and 2006/2007 deathmath, and all with 1 sub ! now with 2subs i will try to get finals againg! My old setup was build very slow ... 180db is impossible to do with no dedication!i have 4years in my volvo , if you and stetsom don't work alt is not my falt, i stil here working every day, and we are doing very good! i don't care about you, just go work man !!! my best luck for you in your life!!

Most every amplifier that falls into the *Maximum Rated Amperage* category can and will do more power than rated.
If an amp has a manufactors rating of 200 amps at 1 ohm, most here are smart enough to know that same amp will pull more (alot more) at .25 ohm, correct?
I'd bet my bottom dollar if we tested every competitors car that falls into these classes, all of their amplifiers would do more than allowed.
There is a difference between manufactors rating and driving the amplifier well below the manufactors rating.
The rules:
*Amp Draw (is based on Manufacturers maximum Amperage rating of each amplifier or fuse rating)
** Amplifiers with incomplete instruction manuals, or subjective ratings will be rated by NSPL. This will class these amplifiers with similar ratings together. Manufacturers whom introduce amplifiers with lower ratings than the previous model must have their NSPL Competition ratings also approved. NSPL reserves the right to rate these amplifiers accordingly. *** Amplifiers which ratings cannot be resolved at an event, will be placed in the Insane class pending the determined ratings.
A simple fix here would be to have Fred test the amp at the same load the manufactor rates it at.

That's a good idea Chad.But plain and simple...the way I see it,if you don't have an efficient enclosure,and your're not running Stetsom..........don't even think about winning first place,because chances are....you will not.These fuse ratings on the Stetsom amplifiers,will do 1 of 3 things.....It will force everyone that competes in NSPL,to run Stetsom.It will make other companies step their game up,or it will make most competitors quit NSPL.

I believe that says it all. Its very obvious that NSPL Stetsom, but only because they don't have any other choice. You either have to run Stetsom amps (because of their " conservative " amperage ratings) or get your ass handed to you in the lanes. You don't see that in any other organizations except NSPL.

Steve, your whole team runs Stetsom amps, so does this mean that your team couldn't dominate the classes without them? There are plenty of amplifiers out there that can hang with Stetsom amps. Enclosure is EVERYTHING!!!! I think if you put a amp that is comparable to a 7KD it will be very close. Terry Brocks with his Hifonics, SPL Dynamics, American Bass, or even Soundstream amps are just as good. This should not force competitors to quit NSPL.

Let me clarify........My whole team didn't run Stetsom amps,till this season.We got beat at Finals,but barely.(against Stetsom amps)We have efficient enclosures,that's why we are a dominate force right now,and with us running Stetsom,we are even more dangerous.Look at the scores closely,it will take the next competitor to run a 7kd, to beat one of my guy's running a 2k6d. And that may still not help.Basically,what I'm trying to say is....with a team like mine out there,and with these Stetsom amps,unless the competition has very efficient enclosures,they will have a very slim chance of winning.And you are right...there are plenty of amps,that can hang with Stetsom,but they have more than a 200amp,and 400amp fuse rating.

i like to clear this , we start slow ... i was the first one to run stetsom in nspl, after me fill guys start run ,in my opinion the reson most got louder is because or amps real works, if we tell 3000 w you will get 3000 w... vs other companys that tell this 3000 w amp and you get 1500 w ... we sale power , i think guys that run stetsom start testing first than they see they get 1 or 2 db louder with half the space and batterys thats needs before use or amps , than they start use stetsom, more roon in the back for box and more eficience because or amps are 90%! i olso help every one in the team ,whats problabe help or team to dominate the spl circuit! for db drag every show we are we are first place or second place , real hard to see stetsom competitor in 3 place! we are company that help or people,we no just sale amps and tell you now is your problema, to get to work! Let me clarify........My whole team didn't run Stetsom amps,till this season.We got beat at Finals,but barely.(against Stetsom amps)We have efficient enclosures,that's why we are a dominate force right now,and with us running Stetsom,we are even more dangerous.Look at the scores closely,it will take the next competitor to run a 7kd, to beat one of my guy's running a 2k6d. And that may still not help.Basically,what I'm trying to say is....with a team like mine out there,and with these Stetsom amps,unless the competition has very efficient enclosures,they will have a very slim chance of winning.And you are right...there are plenty of amps,that can hang with Stetsom,but they have more than a 200amp,and 400amp fuse rating.
AND STEVE WHY YOU NO JUST RUN OTHER COMPANY THAN, IF YOU ARE NOT HAPY WITH OR AMPS? IF YOU LOOK WITH LOTS CAUTION YOU CAN SEE THAT OR 7KD(23") IS HALF THE SINSE VS HIFONICS(41") ,AMERICAN BASS(38"), SOUNDSTREAM(39") AND OTHERS! THATS IS A RESON OR AMPS PULL LEST CURRENT! WE HAVE LESS PARTS INTERNAL WHAT MAKE THE AMPS MORE EFICEIENCE AND LESS POWER HUNGRE! ONE THIN IS REAL IMPORTANTE TO LET YOU KNOW, OR POWER SUPLY IS BUILD TO MAKE THE MOST POWER OUTPUT!

This is very funny......you are taking what I said way out of context.I have never once said,that I wasn't happy with the Stetsom amps.Let me get straight to the point I'm trying to make,so eveyone can understand.Basically alot of pople will not run Stetsom amps,for whatever reasons.That's their choice.There is no other company that has an amp rated,at 200amps,that can beat a 2k6d.So unless other companies step their game up,the competitors that don't run Stetsom are going to have a hard time winning.(quitting)Box efficiency will only get you so far,then it's a power game.Most people don't understand amplifier efficiency,so when they see an 8kd,rated at 400 amps,they are going to always question that. To nip everything in the bud,I guess you can say that I'm trying to look out for the guy's that don't run stetsom,or can't afford stetsom.Let's get real here guys,a 2k6d is fused at 175 amps,and will cost around $600-$800.You have the Opti2000d fused at 180 amps,for around $350.A 2k6 will kill that amp,but what will your competitor on a budget run,a 2k6,or the 2000d?2k6+efficient box will kill 2000d + efficient box.Point blank.
