I thinks we need a good clear section, that will be full of great ideas to make the 2010 season better than 2009. Please only put info in here that is helpfull! Please no Bashing of anyone. Lets get started on the right track. Here is the first idea that I think will help the 2010 season.
1.) I think we need to have classes and rules finalized no later than January 1 2010.
To help with making this happen. I think we need Input from all competitors. And mabey Wayne should think about haveing a Rules comitte, made up of himself and 2 street competitors, 2 Super Street competitors, and 2 Extreme competitors. Help this happen.
2.) I think we need to have Finals Dates and Location picked out no later than Febuary 2010.
This will help everyone.
Please give us some good input to make things better for everyone. And again PLEASE no bashing.

I have tons of ideas.
One is to make shows more spectator friendly and broadcast worthy.
Drag Racing is televized, I think we can format a dB Drag event to be able to be televized like that.
Have you noticed that at most dB drag events, a spectator can just walk up and watch, but they have no idea whats going on?
What if we had a show in a stadium or grand stand type setting and had a jumbo tron thingy. Then actually have a camera showing the cars pulling up to the lanes, and having announcers with personality do short interviews of competitors and explain whats going on. Do a play by play of the event.
And you can show standings and bracketing as well as competitor's positions in the world standings.
Also, what if these events were held in conjunction with car shows, or technology shows such as SEMA and CES.
Also, dB Drag could build their own vehicle fleet to be sort of a demo class and park at each show just to demo.
There should also be invited headliners to come to a show to battle it out. Then the matchup could be marketed. Kind of like how Monster Jam always builds up the Grave Digger vs. Max-D rivalry.
This all could take some money and support and effort. but the rewards could be huge. Especially if SPEED channel or someone picked it up and started televising events every so often.
I mean, people watch Golf, and World's Strongest man, and Table tennis, and Curling on T.V. and its all because someone formatted and packaged it in a way that could be broadcast and any normal joe can sit down and understand whats going on.
To illustrate my point I am currently filming and putting together my own show. Not to make money, but to showcase and present my idea instead of just explaining it.
I would like to work with Wayne on this and really build up something big here.

I agree i saw rock paper sizzor championchips on espn2 the other day 50,000 cash prize for that??? I think getting a short tv show would be great! I think it could easyly get formatted right for tv. To be on tv you need drama. thats what people want to see. What better why to create drama than to have a huge cash prize to winners. I think if we use nascar as an example. Wayne needs to get a 5- 10 show series together. Named after the highest paying sponcer. (for example nascar uses sprint cup series). Have the points champoins win a huge cash prize at the end of the series. that would make competing fun, it would make a great tv show. you could use the same ideas you were talking about. good stats little interveiws with the competitors.

That is what we since beginning in Slovakia and Hungary... We have a announcer, take short interviews with competitor (what power, what brands, etc), and we build a Demo car and the car is at every fair which is in relation to cars..
The rest of your ideas i like also...
