It's also my understanding that there are more competitors in Europe than America, so having two locations there would be a better option for the European Finals, regardless of the economy.
Having a more centralized location won't help anybody.

How so? Seeing as Wayne wants one location for the US, don't you think making it more of an equal distance for the West coast, Canadian and East coast competitors would help? It would be better for the West Coast guys to have a more centralized location than to make them drive to Indy or Louisville, which they probably wouldn't do.

Well I didn't want to just come out and say it, but the majority of cali competitors didn't drive to nevada. What makes you think they will drive 8-10 hours past that?
Then you run into people from the northeast and florida who have a 30 hour drive.
It's difficult to please everyone. Wayne tried to by having multiple locations in the U.S. and the competitors still didn't show up. Wayne gave the west coast a shot (twice) and they blew it. I say tough luck.

Ok, thats a good point, I didn't realize the West Coast didn't make a good enough effort to show up.

This is something I wish db drag would do.
Look at the turnout at usaci finals. Get a car show and other events involved and the turnout/foot traffic will be MUCH higher.

That would work well if it's advertised well enough to the local car clubs. I try to do a few shows every season alongside a car show, the car shows can draw as many as 300 cars around here and also increase the number of competitors in Drags events.

So Wyane is there any update yet for World Finals. If we can know know maybe we will have the time needed for getting more people to come to the show. Like people have said have a big car show. Like they have in Indy.

I think your gonna have to wait a couple months before he starts thinking about finals, he's still working on other stuff like a official product list for Street Stock and his new Psychlone format.
