A vehicle audit following the Street A World Championship round determined that a illegal modification was made following the European National Championship. Although the modification in question would probably not have impacted the outcome of the World Finals competition round, the officiating staff has determined that the mod was illegal and therefore the score should be nullified.

Consequently, the World Championship title in the Street A Division will be awarded to Team Neo - Eric.

In the championship rounds there are only two competitors. Win or lose. The officiating staff has determined that the vehicle was legitimate in the European National Championship. Therefore the competitor's European National Championship title will stand.

This is an unfortunate incident. It is my understanding that the mod in question was additional weatherstip (or tape) to help seal the window.
