how can we compet in monster devision with a monster car?
in the rulbook stands that you only can compet on invitation only, and that you don't need point or certified spl

- What do we need to do to get an invitation?

- Can a competitor compet in a normal class and in monster class under the same name and with 1 termpro ID

for example, can Mr. XXX with member ID 12345 compet at world finals in class super street 5+ AND in monster devision with an other "car"

You would have to e-mail Wayne Harris or another head judge for that.

What do you mean by "car"?

What would make it legal in Monster?

Well I decided to look at the rules. Granted I was looking to see if a monster class car had to even be a car when I ran across this

http://www.termpro.com/dbdrag/rules/2008/section2.asp

quote:
Optional Classes

The following classes are not offered at the World Finals.

* Freestyle - This class is intended for "first-time" contestants only. Typically, there are no rules in this class except that once you win, you must move up into one of the standard classes listed above.
* Monster - This class is intended as an "exhibition" class only.

yes i know, but if you look onward in the rules you wil see in point 6:

The Monster Division is an exhibition-only class. This class is not eligible for the Extreme Cup or overall World Record. Only class records may be established. Eligibility requirements (such as points, certified score, etc.) are waived for this class. Participation at the World Finals is by invitation only. Contact the dBDRA for more information

Maybe that is where factory demo cars should be playing. It would give companys a way to demo there product with out haveing to compete against meter movers.

"monster" in Europe, especially at the European venues of the world finals, is just a fun class, and typically people use the little shoe box things on skateboard wheels [Smile]
