Can someone who has been a competing for 2 years or 5 years drop down to this class? If you are a first year competitor, will there be a move up rule? Just some questions that might be asked by new guys at a show and would like to have the right anwsers for them.

I don't see why not. Some competitors can't afford to buy the big scale toys anymore like they used to but still want to compete and have fun.

If they want to buy products off the list and follow the limits of the class then I say go for it.

Veteran contestants, competition teams, and "hardcore" competitors are encouraged to compete in one of our other divisions [Wink]

With all the other issues we are facing on this side of the pond,we need as many people who are willing to compete at whatever level as possible.
This is still a hobby...and when times get tough 'hobbies' are normally the first to go.

This is very true, but as with anything there are people that might take advantage of a given situation. This is what we dont want.
ie. competitors doing 150's in a stock classes probably isn't going to fly too good. or competitors using dd 99 subs ect.

If an honest attemt were made to compete in Street Stock by purchasing retail equipment then it would be fun and fair. imo

Most daily drivers that I see at car shows are in the spl range of 135 avg and competitors dont get smashed on by 20db when they compete, when its within a few db its a closer match and within the intent of the class.
