if the battery rule change and the big amps in street
many competitors must sell there equipment to be legal in the same class there are alot competitors in europe who use a multicell battery they cant sell the battery then because no one will want it
if there is goiing to be 1 ext class many off them will just stop competing ( it has been said by many off them on the forum)

When the "New kind" of batteries came out, I warned alot of competitors that THIS MAY CHANGE... So if you are up to invest ALOT of money in a "custom made" battery, then be prepared to loose it...
Equipment reduction (amps) in last years Street is, if you think about it, is necessary if you whant to make it cheaper to compete.
About classes, Its in my opinion to have classes were competitors are at.. There are NOT enoug competitors to have that many Extreme classes, that there is today. Even if we all think that Extreme is VERY COOL...

so many people said to not alowe them in 2005 it was ok so people bought them you cant let it happen for 3 years and than just say no its not ok anymore

This is not logical...You cannot allow multicell batteries for 3 years and let quite a few companies produce such items, and then just one day you say that this has got to stop just because some people are nugging about them...I cannot understand how you consider a multi battery is too expensive for a competitor to purcshase and when it comes to replacing amps once or even twice a year there is not even a sigh...
Even if this is the things to come do you think that you will attract new competitors to the sport? My point of view is no because once you have opened the box there is no turning back...The top competitors will always be top because they know what to do...It's not 100% of the equipment that makes the difference. It's the hard work!!!But it seems that someone is upset of the crazy scores...
If you are realy thinking straight you will see that most of the current competitors will be dissapointed...And to be honest i am consdering to give up dbdrag too .In fact i urge every serious competitor to do so... Then you should have room for the newcomers and maybe you should start offering some trophies before they even start competing...
And what about Wayne's post that he won't change anything in street classes?

banning batteries - stupid. who's gonna give competitors their money back now? its db drag's fault the battery thing has gone this far. i hope this is not the case.
less amps in street.......thats not a significant enough change to make it cheaper really. the only way this would make anything cheaper is cost of recones over the course of the season. less amps = less blown up subs.
1 street max class - that would be just super ghay in my opinion. seems that db drag is tryin to shift the cost from street to street max by creating an 'ALL OUT' street max class.

Why can't the Db Drag say what ever they want about batterys ? They let them in and people and companys took advantage of this. Now it may be time to remove the batterys. People say things take time to change....well 3 years was enough time and the change that happened may not have been the one desired.
Replaceing a amp once or twice a year...if you had a STREET type amp with SAFE ohm loads that probley wouldn't be a issue now would it ?
As far as combine street max class's.......what makes 2 sub's less competive than 4 sub's. One of the class's would have a battery rule change any way. 1-2 would get a second or 3-4 looses one. Arn't there enough people that hve proven that less can be as competive as more. What was the diffrence in street A vs B ? Ext 1 Vs Ext 5+ ?
If you want to cry about what will happen then you have no place in the future, as things are never the same for ever. I'm sure most will just get used to what ever happens, and if a few are lost they will be missed but I'm sure there will be new blood in there place.
