There were a few shining riffs in St. Anger (video on HBB - 5-31-03). But, all in all, I was not overly impressed. Sounded like "LimptallicA" - an improvement from AlternicA, but a far cry, IMO, from the days of pre-Black era MetallicA.
On a bright note, Shadows Fall came on second --- big time push for the dudes @ SF!! Hardcore vox with a powerfully PO'd sound that is breathing a great breath of fresh air into the scene. Sad to see Century Media lose Iced Earth, but Shadows Fall is a solid addition to their line-up.
Yes!! Classic metal has been brought back to HBB!!! Mudvayne and Chimira are kewl and all, but, but finally got to see Judas Priest & Dio vids again (well, still have the VHS at home). Now, where's my Maiden - Up the Irons!!

Stone Sour - HTF did I not hear about these guys?! Heavier than a Conrail and clean / hardcore vox - might just have to go out and find me their CDs.
What?! Gah?! I missed Arch Enemy?! NOOOOOO!! Between missing Arch Enemy and Road Warriors (WWE) - I can't win. But, at least I got to see Hate Eternal *big evil grin*.

CCA - Everytime I've seen your logo, all I can envision is the Eye of Chaos. Twud look kewl as hell, but might not quite get the good response from people *chuckle*.
Hrm....Fuqliest Rock Star: Chuck Billy, Tommy Arya, Zakk Wylde - me thinks they would be on the top of the list - but damn they hit hard & fast.
