OK, maybe this is normal for newly released CD's, but I HIGHLY doubt it. Today at Best Buy we recieved 1,050 New Eminem CD's, at the end of the day we had 175!!!!!!!
WE SOLD 875 of his CD's, this accounted for 15% of the stores total sales, we sold something like $14,000 in Eminem CD's!!!

The same thing happened at #048 Topeka KS by 11:00 we had sold 200 copies of the CD. I left at 4:00 so I don't know the total numbers I will get them when I go in tomorrow. I do know that we had the lanes 5 of them back up all day and over half had the CD.

What I like about Eminem is that he can rap about some crazy, nasty and phsycotic stuff but he also lets you know that he's not into a lot of that stuff...most rappers will make you believe that they actually go that insane stuff!

It's just too bad that more people don't appreciate the scene that he came out of...he used to be a battle rapper...I'm sure you've heard that he came in second at the Rap Olympics...but the guy that he lost to, Juice, is just unbelievable...maybe you'd like him if you heard some if his stuff, albeit he comes out with about one single per year...there's also other MC's that have the same style as Eminem...they just don't have big record deals or Dr. Dre to make them catchy beats...Cage and Necro...check them out if you can, they're more coarse than Eminem, but still really nice lyrically...go to www.sandboxautomatic.com and take a listen at a couple of the aforementioned artists...let me know what you think...

Wow man, thanks for the info, that's the kind of resources we need in this forum, people who know a TON about music, sounds like you're into some of the "underground" music that isn't very well known, that's what I'm trying to start to listen to.

No problem, I always appreciate people with open minds...true, I'm into some more of the underground stuff, but I'm not one of those hip-hop elitists (trust me, there are a lot out there), I just like listening to what's good...hmm...another song I would recommend is Equilibrium "Windows 98", which can be found on the site I mentioned above...quite a unique sound (or not, you'll know what I mean if you hear it)...
