haven't heard the maiden, but imho, korn's music has always been poorly mastered... too much midbass, and on the new cd, not nearly enough treble... life is peachy was pry the best of korn's cd's (sq wise) but that isn't saying much (i'm not dissin korn though, just the guys that master it).. just my two cents

IMO from a music listener not careign about sq. Korn sucks unless it is their first album and maybe a little bit or "peachy." Even though Iron Maiden are dinosaurs and eddy the ed' is older than my Grandma i bet it is still better. Its that repeatitive bass note that always gets me.

Maiden? Did someone say Maiden?! Heard their single on HardRadio. Even with it being on cheap-@$$ computer speakers, I was pleased!! Dio's single Fever Dreams is AWESOME on ANY speaker system, even my stock s-10 .
Hrm...KORN....hrm.....memories from '95 concert: FearFactory, Flotsam & Jetsam, KORN, and MEGADETH....Korn's bassist has an extra low-chord strapped onto that piece of lumber that helps him get down lower, twuz what I heard. No cds by them in my collection, concert wasn't great, not bad, made for a nice "slow" mosh pit though .
