well..i'm an sq guy...and at risk of sacrificing my masculinity...
I think Nightswimming by REM (Automatic for the people) is the most beautiful song...
I'd like to hear what other songs you of the almighty forum think are the most beautiful to listen to.....
Love, Peace and the music!

I like techno/trance/electronica CDs, the ones made in Europe are usually better. Here are some good examples: ATB: 9pm, Don’t stop Sasha: Expander Sash: Ecuador, Stay, Adelante Crystal Method: all of them! Paul Van Dyk: For an Angle, Words John Degweed (Bedrock), Heavens Scent BT: all of them! Paul Oukenfold: everything! Pet Tong. Everything! There are MANY more. If you are just starting, try the first four, or get a mix like: Euphoria: 1, 2, Ibiza, 3; Gatecrasher: wet, red, Disco-tech; Trance Nation: 1, 2, 3, 4. Like I said before, there are MANY, MANY more. Listen to the mixes I have listed above, and then make a list of YOUR favorites.
As for my favorite, I really don’t have one. But if I have to recommend one song for you to try, it would have to be ATB 9pm. After you download it, and fall in love with it, try “Bedrock: Heaven’s Scent” and the rest of the ones I have listed.
Hope this helps. -Late

OK, well, I absolutely HATE country!!! (no offense) but the song that I think is the most "beautiful" would have to be "As The Thunder Rolls" I think that's the name, by Garth Brooks, that's just an awesome song!!!
I just heard it today, you could say it's moving, I guess

that's a tough one but i think 2 beautiful songs are Angel and Like a rolling stone by Jimi Hendrix (Bob dylan's voice just sounds too funny, sorry) That just made me think of Dylan's Knockin on heaven's door... great tunes
I guess what I was really trying to get at was songs that make you want to just close your eyes and get lost in the song...
when you don't hear your amp, speakers, h/u or whatever... all you can do is feel the music(i don't mean bass feel either)..
you just lose yourself in the song ....
I know you guys know where I'm coming from here... what song is that for you? of course doesn't have to be just one...

It could be worse Iggy!!! I'm the type of guy that goes for the hard-core Korn, Limp Bizkit, Dre, 2Pac, and others, but you should see my friends mouths drop when i pop in Sarah McLachlin!!! If you want to hear nothing but a "fall-in" song, it would have to be "Building A Mystery" on her Mirrorball album.

well i pretty much like all music ,but one song comes to mind for "feeling" is gotta be Led Zepplins:- Stair way to heaven ,because it changes and evolves ,and dammit ya cant help getting into it by the end
How about some real classical, guys? I can really drown in a well recorded version of Pachabel's Canon In D (RCA Victor Gold released the best one, but its recorded QUIET, so no engine noise...)
Or, Music of the Night off the Phantom Of the Opera Greatest hits... Or Masquerade off that same album, it has some RIDICULOUS passages of vocal as well as being a beautiful song.
Kansas, Dust in the Wind, that always floats me away...
On NIN's Downward spiral, Mister Selfdestrukt is a good song, as well as the first song on WZ's astrocreep 2000 (forgot the name)
Yeah, all kinds of music have the potential to make you just "lose" yourself..
RiverDance, the soundtrack (NOT the one with the feet on it) but the actual "music from the show" is very pretty..
:-)
BSB or N'sync? NAAAAAAAAAAAAH
The thuder rolls rocks, i'm not a huge country fan, but thats a good song.

James Taylor really rocks, i just started listening to him a few months ago. i have his greatest hits CD, one of my fav's. A man by the name of Dave Koz, probably one of the best sax players in the world he really relaxes me when i am tense. his new CD "The Dance" is one to get. I love that CD, when driving on the highway that CD is a goodie, can't be beat. it can really show off a good system i know that.
