Ok, at Hastings Music and books here in Lincoln, they have these "MUST BE 18 TO BUY" stickers on the parental advisory sticker CD's, and yet they have the same CD's on their "Listening stations" that anyone can listent to!
I think it's a JOKE!
There shouldn't be any restrictions on age, if so, 16 should be the limit!

At the hastings in tyler they have that sticker but only use it on very offensive stuff. Which is amazing for the fact that we had the spencers gifts removed from are mall by local churches and the disney store is being protested by the sbc. I dont mind the advisory stickers though. Doesnt make a difference to me. I see kids that go and buy cds cause they have them on there though.

I hate em, just because at the Hastings down here all of the cd's have them stickers, and you have to be 18 to buy them. I mean they went sticker happy too. I am almost 18 so I don't give two sh!ts about them. I don't think that they do much good. If you can go see -R- rated movies at 17 then why can't you buy a cd with lesser of the bad content?

In the words of Stephen Tyler, "Thank you Tipper Gore for ensuring that every album with a parental warning sticker will always sell 100,000 copies". I'm 26, and in my opinion since the creation of these sticker, in or about 1992 you can almost always be assured that if you have a choice between two albums, 1 with the sticker and 1 without the one with the sticker will always be better.
